Project Manager - Construction

Are you a Project Manager? Do you have the expertise to deliver innovative solutions, apply new thinking across disciplines, and drive successful workplace construction projects for Unispace’s clients?

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the full lifecycle of workplace fit-out projects, from concept to completion, ensuring delivery aligns with client expectations, contractual requirements, and timelines.
  • Leading project methodology, tender processes, payment processing, and consultant and contractor management, while ensuring efficient site operations.
  • Building and nurturing relationships with clients and key stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact throughout the project.
  • Coordinating and leading project meetings, ensuring effective communication, and addressing issues to keep projects on track.
  • Overseeing the financial management of projects, ensuring profitability and adherence to budget.
  • Mentoring and developing junior team members, fostering a collaborative and learning-focused environment.

Your experience:

  • A tertiary qualification in Construction, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Architecture.
  • Proven experience in Design and Build processes, with a strong background in delivering commercial fit-out projects.
  • 5+ years of construction management experience, ideally within the workplace or commercial sectors.
  • Excellent client management skills, with a track record of building strong, lasting relationships.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities, with experience managing project teams and stakeholders.
  • Solid financial acumen and experience managing project budgets.
