CFIUS Junior Project Manager

Vonage has established the Business Critical Transformation (BCT) Office to monitor and ensure compliance with Vonage’s CFIUS (Committee on Foreign Investments in the United States) requirements following its acquisition by Ericsson. We are now looking for an enthusiastic Junior CFIUS Project Manager to join our team and contribute to key compliance initiatives. As a Junior CFIUS Project Manager, you will assist in supporting compliance projects, tracking progress, and helping manage tasks to ensure that Vonage maintains compliance with CFIUS regulations. You’ll work closely with senior project managers and cross-functional teams, contributing to the successful implementation of processes while gaining hands-on experience in the field.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in supporting compliance projects and work with cross-functional teams to ensure that compliance policies and procedures are being followed.
  • Help assemble and coordinate project teams, assisting in the alignment of roles and responsibilities.
  • Track project progress by gathering timely updates from team members and ensuring deliverables are on schedule.
  • Support the management of project scopes, issues, risks, and changes under guidance from senior project managers.
  • Take meeting notes, document action items, and maintain project plans, issue logs, and progress reports.
  • Communicate updates and progress to stakeholders through regular reports and meetings.
  • Assist in preparing for audits and external reviews, ensuring all documentation is in place and ready for inspection.

Requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally to various stakeholders.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a willingness to learn new processes in a complex regulatory environment.
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, changing work environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) or similar tools is preferred.
  • Prior exposure to government regulations or compliance projects is a plus but not required.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Arts, or related field.

Experience:

  • 0-2 years of experience in project management or related fields. An internship or academic projects related to compliance or project management is a plus.
