What you’ll be doing

As a Sales Associate, you will assist our sales team by managing a pipeline of small to medium merchants and organizations from start to finish. You will play an active role in selling a broad range of Wolt products. This includes our traditional marketplace offering for retail and restaurant merchants, as well as our new product Wolt Benefits, where you will help companies provide meaningful employee benefits to their teams. You will collaborate closely with prospects, customers and internal teams to build solutions that meet business needs, while representing Wolt as a trusted partner in the employee benefit space.

This requires strong commercial thinking to identify the right partners across various verticals, along with excellent communication and negotiation skills to demonstrate the value Wolt brings to merchants and organizations.

Day-to-day in this role you’ll:

  • Work with new potential restaurant and retail merchants as well as organizations, managing the sales process from beginning to close. This includes researching leads, prospecting, conducting meetings and market visits, negotiating terms and securing agreements.
  • Collaborate with the Sales, Merchant Services and Account Management teams.
  • Systematically hunt for new partnerships and manage your pipeline while tailoring your approach to position Wolt as the preferred partner.
  • Lead negotiations, manage the relationship until onboarding and ensure an optimal product selection for each partner on the platform.
  • Make informed business decisions by combining intuition with data.

Our humble expectations

  • You are early in your sales career, either a recent graduate or with up to one year of experience in sales, outreach or another customer-facing role.
  • You are tech savvy, curious and quick to learn.
  • You bring a can-do attitude and are ready to work hands-on in a fast-paced environment.
  • You are persistent and naturally motivated to build a portfolio from the ground up, always finding new angles to overcome obstacles.
  • Relationship building comes naturally to you and you can tailor the business model to the needs of each partner.
  • You are structured and comfortable managing your time and pipeline. Experience with a CRM is an advantage.
  • Experience in retail or the HoReCa industry is a plus, though not required.
  • You are fluent in Finnish and English, both spoken and written.
