Engineering Manager - .NET

WHO YOU ARE:

 

An experienced and results-oriented Engineering Manager to lead our ASP/.NET development team. The ideal candidate will have a proven history of managing engineering teams, delivering complex software projects, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

 

• Team Leadership:
• Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performance team.
• Provide mentorship, coaching, and performance reviews to team members.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
• Technical Expertise:
• Possess deep expertise in Net Framework, C++, C#, JavaScript, ASP.Net, MVC 4/5, Web API, Entity Framework, and .Net Core.
• Understanding of Azure and the corresponding technologies.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the team.
• Work as an individual contributor whenever necessary.
• Product Development:
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand business requirements.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Ensure that developed products meet quality standards and deliver value.
  
  
  
  
• Process Improvement:
• Continuously evaluate and improve engineering processes and methodologies.
• Implement Agile or DevOps practices to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Stakeholder Management:
• Effectively communicate project status and progress to stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

 

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing strategic projects, with 5 years of experience in people management, supervision/team leadership role.
• 10+ Years of experience in working with .Net Framework, C++, C#, JavaScript, ASP.Net, MVC 4/5, Web API, Entity Framework, and .Net Core / Azure design patterns.
• 5+ Years of experience working in Azure cloud-based technologies.
• Strong experience with SQL Server (DB Design, Query Optimization, Indexing).
• Proven history of delivering successful ASP/.NET projects.
• Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

        Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of modern web development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular).
• Experience with software testing and quality assurance practices.
• Experience with Microsoft Graph API.
