
Product Manager II - Identity & Access Management

WHO YOU ARE:
You will lead the development of our Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions. You will be responsible for contributing to the roadmap, driving feature development, and ensuring secure and seamless access control for our users. You have experience in IAM, understands authentication and authorization protocols, and can work cross-functionally with engineering, security, and business teams to deliver scalable identity solutions.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Contribute into the execution of all product lifecycle processes for products, including product research, market research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, requirements development, and product launch.
- Contribute towards IAM solutions, including authentication, authorization, and identity lifecycle management.
- Building IAM features such as Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and Zero Trust security models
- Work with a cross-functional team to ensure fulfillment of product requirements, evaluates product performance and transition products from development to commercialization.
- Gain a deep understanding of existing systems, customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth.
- Acts as a technical consultant to the product organization and leads research, and prototyping of innovative technologies and products.
- Identifies and documents requirements for new products, features, and processes through market research, review of technical documentation, and communication with sales, implementation, and customer success teams.
- Translates product/platform strategy by writing detailed feature and user stories consumable for Dev teams for products.
- Ensures the technology and architectural roadmap of engineering is properly aligned with and supports the product/business road map.
- Acts as a customer liaison on technical issues related to product integration, custom development and requirements.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, Business/Systems Analyst, preferably in security, IAM, or enterprise SaaS
- Experience with IAM platforms such as Auth0, OKTA, Microsoft Azure AD, Ping Identity, ForgeRock, or similar.
- Good understanding of IAM technologies such as OAuth, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML, LDAP, and SCIM.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business terms.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements (GDPR, SOC 2, HIPAA, etc.) related to identity and access management.
- Experience in Life & Annuity Industry or financial services is a plus
Preferred Qualification:
- Experience with developer-focused IAM products and APIs.
- Knowledge of cloud-based IAM solutions and identity federation across multiple environments.
