
Manager/ Sr Manager (FP&A) - Insurance Solutions

WHO YOU ARE:
Responsible for providing financial planning, analysis and reporting for Corporate, a business, or a P&L within a business. Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may influence work.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Responsible for managing the business cycle- 3-to-5-year plan, budget, forecasts at each level of the organization. Define KPIs to measure the performance in all areas of the organization – Technology, Engineering, Operations, Product, etc. Analyze the performance and propose action plans to improve profitability and cash generation as well as corrective action plans as needed.
- Revenue and Cost Forecasting: Lead forecasting and financial analysis for Revenue and associated Costs.
- Identify all Revenue leakage and Cost Optimization opportunities
- Periodically review Project Time Sheets against forecasts and measure/ identify inefficiencies in time tracking and loss of revenue
- Performance Reporting: Provide weekly and monthly reports on financial performance, including variance analysis and trend identification.
- Strategic Business Partnership: Develop strong relationships with General Managers, Product, and Analytics teams to align financial forecasts with business goals.
- Process Improvement: Automate and optimize business processes and reporting systems to enhance transparency, efficiency, and accuracy.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a senior financial analyst to achieve team objectives.
- Ad Hoc Support: Assist with data requests and contribute to corporate initiatives, including board presentations, investor relations, and financial scenario planning.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, preferably with Commerce/ Accounting specialization.
- 7 to 10 years work experience in a related field
- Proven experience and success in working independently at a fast pace
- Excellent results orientated, organization and management skills with the ability to lead and focus the efforts of others to a specific goal
- Superior oral/written communication skills
- Ability to present to large audiences
- Ability to build internal and external relationships
- Ability to translate functional, technical and complex information to a broad audience
- Ability to effectively interact with the executive level on a regular basis
- Proven problem solving, decision making, analytical and organizational skills required
- Must be a creative and strategic thinker
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with presentations
- Team player with ability to coordinate cross-functional teams
- Some travel may be required
