We're looking for an experienced Senior Financial Representative to join our General Ledger team. Reporting to the Deputy Manager – General Ledger, you'll be responsible for:
- Performing month-end close, journal entries, reconciling GL accounts, and managing diverse accruals (AP, open PO, non-PO, recurring JEs) for U.S. and international subsidiaries.
- Performing expense analysis and providing commentary to explain variances and business impact across P&L accounts
- Working with department heads to review monthly PO reports, ensuring accurate accruals for subsidiaries, and handling month-end facilities and IT allocations.
- Reviewing expense reports, credit card transactions, requisitions ensuring accuracy in accounting codes, and coordinating with other key departments.
- Partnering with other business teams to enhance expense forecasting, driving process improvements, and participating in special projects as needed.
What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- MBA/M.com with 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in GL, including exposure to publicly traded and SaaS companies
- Strong accounting knowledge and ability to apply it effectively in day-to-day operations and financial and data analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills collaborating with others across the entire organization
- Advanced MS Office skills, emphasis on Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) and Access
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Working knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems (NetSuite, Coupa, FloQast, Tableau) preferred
- Detail-oriented with ability to work independently and under tight deadlines
- Open for rotational office hours during month-end closing
