Contract Length: 12 months

Start Date: February/March 2025

Position Overview:

Zynga is hiring for a Senior HR Business Partner on a 12 month fixed term contract, with awareness, purpose, and conviction to join our team! You will contribute to Zynga’s success by acting as a strategic business partner, coach and advocate for all employees and will be the  “go-to” HR contact for assigned partner groups in Finland. This position will report to the Vice President HRBP, NA & EMEA. 

You will be both strategic and tactical in your work, with an ability to pivot quickly. The ability to work on an independent basis and exercise strong judgment is key to this role. Collaboration will be necessary for company projects.

This is a unique opportunity for someone looking for sole HR accountability for a Business Unit, within a Global Organization.

What You'll Do: 

  • Serve as the HR lead for Finland
  • Build a thorough understanding of our teams and overall business operations, as well as HR strategies and initiatives, to develop people plans that support the overall business goals
  • Partner with creative and technical teams on HR strategies and initiatives to enhance performance and organisational effectiveness
  • Drive consistent talent and compensation review  within your business areas, to maintain talent health and accelerate development
  • Work with our L&D COE to address the training needs of the business
  • Ensure employee records and data are updated in Workday
  • Run reports from Workday as needed to aid in business decisions
  • Drive consistent talent and compensation review routines within your business areas
  • Partner with Employee Relations team on employee issues
  • Partner with local and global HRBPs on strategic projects and programs
  • Partner with the wider People Operations team, to effectively deliver HR initiatives within your business areas including Total Rewards, Learning & Development, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
  • Proactively work with client groups and HR leadership to propose and drive new HR initiatives that align with business needs
  • Resolve and anticipate complex issues that impact multiple teams across related HR areas, employee relations, unions  or other employee issues

What You Bring: 

  • Experience working as a HRBP, supporting employees in Finland, working with and supporting business teams with demonstrated results
  • Comfortable working independently and being a Finnish HR Subject Matter Expert
  • Able to own and drive HR work, translating global initiatives into local projects
  • Strong client partner, with business acumen
  • Operated in a matrixed, fast-paced, global and rapidly-changing business environment
  • Deep experience of partnering with dynamic and creative teams and business leaders, able to demonstrate results though people projects
  • A strong solutions focus, ability to quickly identify problems and drive appropriate solutions
  • Great communication skills. An excellent connector, who collaborates and always keeps the broader team in mind
  • Highly proficient at written and spoken Finnish (C1)

Bonus Points: 

  • Previous experience working as a HRBP in the games or entertainment industry
  • Experience working for a public company
  • Prior work experience in a Global Organization
