Why you want this job

In this role, you’ll partner with the 1-800 Contacts media team to meet the data analytics needs of the media planners & buyers, providing detailed insights around return on ad spend, LTV, and campaign performance across platforms that drive outcomes. You will be part of a complementary team supporting data-driven decision-making to acquire and retain customers and collaborate with various partners to extract, analyze, and interpret data, providing insights that drive business strategies, and advise media improvements!

What you'll need

  • Provide strategic insights to enhance customer acquisition and retention through media efforts, supporting Media Planners and Buyers with actionable insights beyond standard reporting. 
  • Assist in ad-hoc marketing campaign analyses to uncover deep insights that drive business results and strategic marketing optimization. 
  • Support media optimization initiatives across channels like TV, OTT/CTV, and present findings to refine future analyses.
  • Produce performance reports, including scorecards and dashboards, to facilitate self-service access for team members. 
  • Develop positive partnerships and actively listen to understand and address the needs of internal team members and leadership. 
  • Contribute to solution creation, designing and updating Tableau dashboards, mining granular data, and developing analyses to explain campaign outcomes. 
  • Participate in measurement plan development, collaborate with Data Engineering to create necessary datasets, and align analyses with business and marketing goals. 
  • Support analytics and optimization plan design, leveraging technologies like Adobe Analytics, Google Marketing Platform, Salesforce Intelligence (Datorama), Tableau, and more. 
  • Engage in improvement projects to enhance tools and processes, assist in campaign tracking and reporting, and prepare presentation materials to communicate insights effectively. 
  • Manage multiple projects and adapt to changes quickly, leveraging internally maintained analytics tools to present informed recommendations. 

Why we will love you

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics) or 5+ years of data analyst experience in a corporate setting is required. 
  • Experience with Campaign Management and DSP solutions (e.g., Google Campaign Manager, TradeDesk, StackAdapt) and familiarity with SEM platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Bing). 
  • Proficient in tag management platforms such as Google Tag Manager, Adobe Launch, or Tealium iQ, and knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Experience Cloud). 
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and dashboard software for reporting and analysis. 
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis and manipulation. 
  • Experience with A/B testing, multivariate testing, and other experimental methodologies. 
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines, strong attention to detail, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly. 
  • Team-oriented with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. 
  • Familiarity with analyzing paid/organic social data and reporting on social media platforms (e.g., Facebook/Instagram, Pinterest, Snap). 
  • Agency experience working on accounts with annual budgets exceeding $25M.
