What We Need
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Associate Manager to join the NBA 2K Commercial Strategy & Operations team.
This person will report to the Director, Commercial Strategy & Operations based in London. You’ll collaborate with various departments to drive forward the long-term growth strategy of one of the largest video game franchises in the world. The broader Commercial Strategy & Operations team includes colleagues based in Singapore, USA, Ireland, and London.
This role requires structured problem-solving, critical thinking, data-driven decision-making, and a commercial approach. To be successful, you will harness internal and external data to improve our understanding of the business and its drivers at both regional and territory levels.
Success in this role means combining qualitative and quantitative approaches to advise teams and senior leadership on business strategy, tactics, and outcomes.
The ideal candidate works well with colleagues across functions, geographies, and disciplines. They love telling a story from data and insights—with clear “so what’s”—and are open to feedback. They enjoy working through ambiguity and solving tough business problems.
What You Will Do

Support and lead strategy development and implementation of key growth initiatives within the broader franchise five-year strategy.

Analyze internal telemetry and sales data to extract compelling and practical business insights, communicating your findings and recommendations with various partners.

Evaluate and find new opportunities to grow revenues by analyzing the business, customers, and broader market.

Partner with regional teams to align on goals, analyze performance, and develop optimized pricing and sales strategies for our digital and physical products.

Establish and distribute regular performance reports and dashboards to a broad range of stakeholders within the business.

Form relationships across geographies, functions, and levels to adopt new ways of working and leverage existing ones.

Understanding of basic accounting principles (e.g., how a P&L works).

Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentations, as well as strong listening and interpretation skills.

Willingness to learn tools such as SQL, Tableau, and Snowflake.
Good to Have
Exposure to a wide range of data and analytical concepts and methodologies, including:

Primary research

Forecasting (units and revenue)

Comfortable using SQL to extract data from large databases.

Familiarity with visualization tools and libraries, e.g., Tableau, Power BI.

Experience or passion for the video games industry is a plus.
