The Role

As a Manager of Product Analytics at Addepar, you will build and lead a team of analysts to drive product decisions and empower data-driven insights across the organization. You will leverage your team's advanced analytical skills to inform product and company initiatives. A key aspect of the role involves developing a deep understanding of Addepar's products and clients.

What You’ll Do

• Team Leadership and Management:
• Coordinate activities of the product analytics team and be accountable for results.
• Guide and mentor analysts on technical skills, analytical methods, and career development while providing direct supervision. Foster a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Manage the team's workload and allocate resources to meet goals and deadlines.
• Administer Addepar policies and practices that affect the team and recommend changes to team policies and practices.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with product, engineering, and other business partners to understand their data needs for making informed product decisions.
• Present findings and recommendations to product/business partners, translating complex topics to technical and non-technical business users.
• Engage with internal managers and individual contributors, fostering collaboration and delivering presentations of technical information.
• Data Analysis and Insights:
• Oversee the analysis of complex datasets to identify key trends and patterns, driving the increase in product adoption.
• Guide the team in applying advanced analytics techniques to inform product roadmap decisions. 
• Ensure the delivery of actionable insights that drive product and business outcomes.
• Enable self-service monitoring of key metrics through dashboards, documentation, and training.
• Strategic Contribution:
• Champion data-driven decision-making and work with leadership to align analytics insights with Addepar's broader business objectives.
• Identify ways to optimize resources to achieve goals and deadlines, offering guidance following established Addepar policies.

Who You Are

• A minimum of 8+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Alternatively, leading teams with 4+ years of experience with an advanced degree.
• Prior experience in a product analytics role and leading or mentoring a team.
• Solid understanding of SQL, Python, and/or other analytics programming languages.
• Experience building reports and dashboards with BI tools such as Looker, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, or GCP.
• You’ve worked to develop strong business and product sense/knowledge to complement your technical expertise in analytics.
• You are passionate about solving complex and/or difficult analytics problems at the heart of product development and business intelligence.
• Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
• You’re able to navigate and translate complex topics for both technical engineers and non-technical business users.
• Readiness to learn new technologies and systems.
• Familiarity with the financial industry is a plus but not necessary.
