THE ROLE

We are looking for a self-motivated Director, Brand & Community Partnerships who is passionate about helping to grow the AG1 brand through identifying and executing unique brand partnerships. 

Reporting to the VP Growth UK, this role is critical to the brand’s growth, ensuring our ability to reach a broader audience by leveraging relationships with complementary brands. This role sits at the intersection of brand and growth and the right candidate will be one who can bridge two brands to tell unique, authentic, and impactful stories.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Identify, manage outreach, and develop relationships with brands that align to the broader marketing and brand activation strategy.
  • Develop and deliver a localised brand partnership and sponsorship strategy, ensuring a unique approach to how we work with like-minded brands, ambassadors, and distribution partners within complementary categories (e.g. sports).
  • Partners cross functionally on innovative activation strategies that amplify the partnership throughout the entire marketing funnel.
  • Develop and deliver a localised community events and sampling strategy, ensuring an optimum balance between sample quality and volume.
  • Collaborate with international colleagues in the US and EU to localise partnerships from other regions.
  • Develop a clear set of KPIs, continually educating the business on the short and long term impacts of brand partners on the success of the brand.
  • Build and lead a team of agency partners to help manage the coordination and flawless execution of brand partnership programs.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 7-10 years+ of partnership, brand activation, or community/events experience.
  • DTC experience is preferred.
  • Experience working cross functionally within marketing and sales organizations.
  • Based in the UK, this role requires deep insight into the UK and other European markets.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a consistent “can-do” attitude.
  • A desire to follow broader cultural conversation across social media around key topic areas: health and wellness, sports, etc.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proven ability to manage multiple work streams at once.
  • Strong interpersonal, written communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in lifestyle, wellness, fitness or sports industry preferred.
  • Previous experience in a high growth environment.
  • A full life outside of work with personal passions and hobbies!

AG1 is dedicated to providing equitable and competitive compensation & benefits packages. For this particular role, the base salary range is £92,700.00 - £107,100.00 and will ultimately be decided at the offer stage, based on an individual candidate’s level of skills and experience aligned with the needs of this role. Base salary is one component of total compensation for this position. We provide a competitive mix of base salary, performance bonus, and stock option allocation for eligible roles.
