Airtable is the no-code app platform that empowers people closest to the work to accelerate their most critical business processes. More than 500,000 organizations, including 80% of the Fortune 100, rely on Airtable to transform how work gets done.
As the world moves faster, connection and agility have never been more important for businesses. We started Airtable so that teams can easily create software that fits their unique needs. Airtable currently helps over half a million organizations across almost every industry build user-friendly custom apps on top of powerful databases without writing a single line of code.
Engaging and inspiring our diverse (and growing) set of audiences through a focused brand vision takes a sharp creative team with the storytelling and craft skills to truly connect. This role will have impact across marketing and product, as well as influence on the overall visual identity and voice of the company. Design has been a part of Airtable's DNA from the start, and it's a crucial part of where we're heading in the future.
The Brand Creative team at Airtable tackles everything from web experiences, feature launches, campaigns, customer storytelling, sales enablement, and event experiences. As a group of multi-disciplinary creatives, and a part of the broader Airtable design organization, each team member brings their unique experience and perspective to the table. We’re looking for an experienced brand designer to join our humble, talented and deeply thoughtful crew of designers.
What you'll do
- Work alongside fellow multidisciplinary creatives to elevate the Airtable brand Identity, across all expressions and experiences: digital, print, illustration, photography, video, and animation
- Aid in creating and maintaining a scalable design system that is unique to Airtable
- Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and sales teams to design content for feature launches and initiatives — websites, blog posts, digital advertisements and everything in between
- Help critique and give design direction when working with external agencies
Who you are
- You have 5+ years of experience working in either an agency or in-house environment, for consumer or B2B brands
- You have a stellar portfolio with examples of work supporting marketing efforts such as web, product launches, campaigns, collateral, presentations, and events (not all are required)
- You’re a problem solver, able to take complex concepts and make them understandable and relatable
- You know how to tie your design decisions back to business and audience goals
- You have experience with designing complex concepts into concise visualizations
- You are skilled in explaining your work and excited to participate in constructive critiques
- You are proactive, clear, and thoughtful in your communication with team members and stakeholders
- You are a team player who can prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Bonus if you have animation experience
