Position Overview:

As ACS’ Head of Programs, you will lead the successful execution of government contracts and serve as a strategic bridge between customers and internal teams. This role is integral in ensuring contract deliverables are met, aligning internal efforts with customer needs, and contributing to the company’s growth by informing capture and proposal activities.

What You’ll Do:

  • Communicating customer requirements to engineering and product teams
  • Oversight of contract master schedules and program execution
  • Delivering on contract commitments and managing mission operations activities
  • Supporting capture and proposal generation for new opportunities

What You’ll Need:

  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in the Department of Defense (DoD) or the Defense Industry
  • DoD Contract Management:
    • 5–8 years of experience managing DoD contracts in areas such as Counter UAS, Air Defense, Ground Vehicles, or Small/Medium Caliber Weapon Systems; OR
    • 10 years managing DoD programs in the above domains within program offices
  • Proven ability to lead and manage complex programs, ensuring all deliverables are met within scope, schedule, and budget

You’ll Stand Out:

  • Experience supporting Army, USMC, or Special Operations programs
  • Familiarity with proposal generation or government source selection processes
  • Advanced degree in Business or Technology
  • Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) and DAWIA Level III in Program Management
