Associate Systems Engineer(Windows Patching and Security) - 1860

Mandatory skills:
- Total 2-3 years of experience
- Willing to work in 24X7 shifts and adjust schedule to fit deployment or maintenance events.
- Able to perform L1 level activities in Windows Server 2016, 2019,2022 environments : HA/Fail over Clustering, IIS , SSL certificate,Event Viewer, Perf Monitor
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Patching & Security remediation to keep environment compliant.
- Windows Server 2016,2019,2022 : Understanding of High Availability server designs, troubleshooting and implementations.
- Experience with remote Hardware/Software/network monitoring and Administration.
- Experience working within Change Controls.
- Good troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working in a culturally diverse environment.
- Responsible for monitoring performance and system usage.
- Knowledge of Data Center operations and vendor handling.
- Working and resolving alerts within SLA.
- Good Communication & Email Skills are mandatory.
- Ability to be proactive and work independently with limited direction.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the configuration, installation, upgrades, performance monitoring, security, and continual improvement of our servers and applications.
- Responsible for supporting our systems and applications, including Microsoft SQL Servers, Active Directory, VMware, IIS, Clusters and Windows Environment.
- Responsible for deployment of new solutions by following documented processes.
- Monitor and resolve the issues proactively.
- Responsible for managing servers and performing day to day activity like package creation, patch deployment, etc
- Responsible for continuous improvement and enhancement of Infrastructure related services.
- Maintain positive relationships with client, end users and vendors, and consultants.
- Maintain current working knowledge in the area of systems and hardware, and incorporate new developments into the future systems of the enterprise
Job Description:
- Experience supporting highly available cross enterprise applications on a large, global network will be added advantage
- Experience with application administration, architecture and deployment processes will be added advantage
- Ability to train on working with Development Teams to provide support and feedback for troubleshooting application/deployment issues.
- Able to handle multiple tasks and possess proper time management skills with a focus on establishing priorities.
- Knowledge of Change Control/RFC processes.
- Good problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work independently, as well as part of a cross-functional team.
- Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience with Windows administration, alerting, patching and system stability
