Job Description: Network Operations Manager

Position Overview

The Network Operations Manager will play a crucial role in managing and ensuring the optimal performance of Altera Digital Health's Network infrastructure. the successful candidate will lead a team of Network Operation engineers responsible for monitoring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing our Network Systems, including Cisco routers, Palo Alto firewalls, Azure Networking, Azure firewalls.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Network engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Collaborate with senior leadership to define Network operational strategies, ensuring alignment with Altera Digital Health's business objectives.
  • Network Infrastructure Oversight: Oversee the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of Network systems, including hardware, software, and other related infrastructure.
  • Incident Management & Resolution: Lead incident response efforts, ensuring timely resolution of Network issues while minimizing impact on business operations.
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders, ensuring that Network services are delivered in line with agreed-upon SLAs and performance metrics.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Oversee the Network operations budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and cost-effective operations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives aimed at Network optimization, performance enhancement, and adoption of best practices in Network management.
  • Compliance & Security: Ensure adherence to industry standards and compliance requirements, implementing robust Network security measures to protect company data and infrastructure.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Demonstrated leadership ability and 4+ years’ experience in a management position within Network Engineering & Operations environment ideally in an outsourcing capacity.
  • Lead Network Design process, Implementation and manage existing Network and Automate to increase the Engineering efficiency.
  • In Depth Knowledge and working experience Routing Protocols: BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VRF, VPNs.
  • Managing Escalation and Troubleshoot critical issues as needed
  • Experience with Cisco routing switching and Multi-Vendor Environment.
  • Collaborate and Work with Various Technical Teams to design best and Secure Network.
  • In Depth knowledge and working experience on Protocols: PVST, RPVST, VXLAN, BGP EVPN, QOS
  • In Depth Knowledge of Wireshark packet captures
  • In Depth Knowledge and working experience of various Network Authentication protocols.
  • Very Strong Communication and presentation skills.
  • Documentation of complex technologies and topologies
  • should be well-versed with all aspects of project management such as team building, staff training and scheduling.
  • Design and implement Multi Cloud service provider network.
  • Work with Squad Leads, Product Area Leaders, Team Leads and other Architects to develop platform designs and solution roadmaps.
  • Ensuring the solutions that are delivered meet high standards for quality, performance, and scale.
  • Demonstrated high level of understanding for new network design, blue documentation
  • Proven ability at making, meeting, and exceeding customer expectations, and heavy synergistic client interface experience.
  • Strong technical background in Network systems, including hands-on experience with Cisco routers, Palo Alto firewalls, Azure Networking, Azure firewalls.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a track record of effectively managing complex Network issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with team members, vendors, and stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements relevant to Network operations.
  • Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent is highly desirable.
