About the Role

This position supports ToroAire’s HVAC business by providing internal project and sales support for air distribution and HVAC equipment. The role works closely with the outside sales, engineering, and operations teams to prepare quotes, process orders, and track projects from early design to fulfillment to after sales support.

This role is primarily internal and detail-focused, requiring strong computer skills and the ability to learn and apply technical product knowledge and application to manage multiple project files, documentation, and order details simultaneously. The Product Sales Representative plays a key role in supporting the sales team by ensuring accurate equipment selections, timely quotes, and organized project coordination.

Candidates with experience supporting construction projects, working with plans/specs, or coordinating technical project documentation are especially encouraged to apply.

Job Duties

· Support assigned Outside Sales Engineers with quoting, order entry, and project coordination

· Prepare equipment quotes based on project specifications and customer input

· Enter and manage orders for equipment sold by the Outside Sales team

· Track project status and maintain detailed records throughout the order process

· Manage virtual project files and documentation for assigned sales projects

· Use manufacturer selection programs to configure and select equipment for quoting and design support

· Prepare equipment submittals and project documentation

· Provide technical product support and respond to internal and customer inquiries

· Maintain strong communication with internal teams to ensure projects move forward accurately and on time

· Provide backup support to other Inside Sales Engineers when needed

Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered

· Experience in construction, engineering support, project coordination, or similar technical/office-based roles strongly preferred

· Experience working with project documentation, equipment specifications, or construction-related products is a plus

Critical Skill Set

· Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

· Comfortable working at a computer for extended periods managing quotes, documentation, and project data

· Ability to quickly learn, understand, and effectively apply technical product knowledge across all aspects of the role.

· Strong customer service mindset with the ability to support internal and external partners

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Strong computer skills and ability to learn manufacturer selection software and internal systems

· Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

· Team-oriented and collaborative mindset

· NetSuite experience is a plus but not required

Compensation: $31.25-$40.86/hr DOE
