We want you to think big and act ambitious through expressing your authentic best self! Anaplan is looking for a tenacious ServiceNow Developer to join our IT Enterprise Applications team in our York office.
This is a stellar opportunity to get involved in a highly visible, large scale SaaS cloud company. This role is an immediate full-time position. If you’re ready to roll up your sleeves and tackle unique problems that no one else is solving, keep reading.- Using Agile methodologies, provide development and support for our ServiceNow platform.
- Develop reliable and scalable applications, workflows, and overall automation, streamlining processes, improving experience, enhancing productivity, and enforcing data hygiene.
- Improve development capabilities, when possible, to accelerate demand delivery while not compromising quality and experience.
- Apply thought leadership to understand dependencies, maintain security, and ensure performance and stability.
- Maintain instance health by adhering to and carrying out ServiceNow best practices through configuration and development, leveraging OOTB features, capabilities, and configurations wherever possible.
- Drive continual improvement and support and implement platform performance optimization strategies to ensure maximum efficiency, upgradeability, data integrity, and overall platform operation.
- Maintain compliance and strive for swift controlled adoption of platform upgrades, patches, and hotfixes.
- Build and maintain technical design and configuration documentation.
- Integrate ServiceNow ITOM modules with a variety of enterprise monitoring tools, automation of alerts, application management tools using OOB plugins and API methods.
- Design and modify ServiceNow forms, workflows, scripts, transform maps, service maps, web services, inbound email actions, SLAs and more.
- Interface and coordinate with IT Program/Project Managers, IT Infrastructure team, and other stakeholders to gather and refine requirements on CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
- Leverage experience and subject matter expertise to implement the Core suite of ITSM, ITOM, CSM, ITAM, SAM Pro, HAM Pro, App Engine applications.
- 4+ years of experience with ServiceNow required.
- 8+ years of experience with IT Industry required.
- ServiceNow Certifications (on latest supported version): Certified Application Developer (CAD) and Certified System Administrator (CSA) is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related fields or equivalent professional experience.
- Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management is preferred.
- ITIL Foundations certification is preferred.
- Experience with ServiceNow Platform Products: ITSM, ITAM/HAM Pro, SAM Pro, ITOM, CSM.
- Experience with Scoped/Custom Applications, IntegrationHub, and Flow Designer.
- Experience planning and executing ServiceNow Platform upgrades and cloning.
- Experienced in implementation on ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management and Orchestration use cases.
- Experience with 3rd party software integrations with ServiceNow.
- Experience in CSDM and CMDB best practices.
