Anaplan is looking for a tenacious Senior ServiceNow Engineer to join our IT Enterprise Applications team in our York office.  This is a stellar opportunity to get involved in a highly visible, large scale SaaS cloud company. Your role

  • Provide technical mentorship, development, and support for our ServiceNow platform.
  • Develop reliable and scalable applications, workflows, and overall automation, streamlining processes, improving experience, enhancing productivity, and enforcing data hygiene.
  • Improve development capabilities, when possible, to accelerate demand delivery while not compromising quality and experience.
  • Apply thought leadership to understand dependencies, maintain security, and ensure performance and stability.
  • Maintain instance health by adhering to and carrying out ServiceNow best practices through configuration and development, leveraging OOTB features, capabilities, and configurations wherever possible.
  • Drive continual improvement and support and implement platform performance optimization strategies to ensure maximum efficiency, upgradeability, data integrity, and overall platform operation.
  • Maintain compliance and strive for swift controlled adoption of platform upgrades, patches, and hotfixes.
  • Build and maintain technical design and configuration documentation.
  • Provide mentoring through example and knowledge sharing.

Your Qualifications

To be successful in the role, you must possess the following skills

  • Around 8 years of software development experience, with at least 3 years ServiceNow Platform/Product development and implementation experience including JavaScript and XML.
  • Experience with ServiceNow Platform Products: ITSM, ITAM/HAM, SAMP, HR Enterprise, ITOM.
  • Experience with Scoped/Custom Applications, IntegrationHub, and Flow Designer.
  • Experience planning and executing ServiceNow Platform upgrades and cloning.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related fields or equivalent professional experience.
  • ServiceNow Certifications (on latest supported version): Application Developer, Certified System Administrator.
