Our Corporate Communications team sits at the crossroads of our company. We serve as business partners to internal stakeholders and ensure external audiences receive consistent, timely, and relevant information about Anaplan. As stewards of the communications that drive our brand, strategy, culture, DEIB, and employee experience, we are a talent-dense team dedicated to informing, educating, engaging, and inspiring through effective mediums and channels. 

We seek a dynamic and energetic communications pro to serve as our Senior Digital Content Specialist. This full-time position is based in the DC Metro/Northern Virginia area and will eventually have an in-office requirement of at least two days per week (Northern Virginia office pending). 

Your Impact 

The Senior Digital Content Specialist supports creative design and video production across Anaplan’s digital, people, and experience channels. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about recent digital communications trends and be effective in helping our communications team develop and implement internal and external digital strategies that positively promote the company’s identity, strategy, and culture. You will:

  • Assist with the development of creative communication strategies that drive effective and compelling graphic and video-based assets for a broad global audience 
  • Help develop and execute graphic-based communications with precision and creativity, ensuring all deliverables are on-brand and help achieve specific outcomes 
  • Edit and produce engaging videos for inspirational and educational purposes 
  • Prepare final designs for presentation and production, maintaining consistency and quality across all materials 
  • Produce internal and external materials for multiple forums and channels including leadership meetings, leadership messages, employee town halls, presentations, blogs, videos, social media, and site visits, and provide logistics support
  • Help manage the analytics and reporting for stakeholder engagement across our various channels 

 Your Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) 
  • Knowledge of video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Synthesia, etc.) 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel 
  • Experience using SharePoint for intranet applications 
  • A strong understanding of foundational typography, color theory, and layout principles 
  • A diverse portfolio showcasing your design expertise across various mediums and styles 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced collaborative environment, take creative direction, and contribute fresh perspectives 
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • A track record of accountability – the ability to share examples of projects that were delivered on time and achieved specific outcomes 
  • At least 3 years of experience in a corporate role, ideally in a high-tech environment 
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet all business objectives 
  • Flexibility to travel nationally, ~10% of the year (not a regular practice, but could be required) 

 Nice to Haves

  • Photography skills 
  • Familiarity with motion graphics or animation is a plus 
  • Illustration skills
