Your Impact
We are looking for an innovative, high-energy, and enthusiastic candidate to join our growing team in the role of Sustainability & ESG Reporting Manager. In this role, you will develop, analyze, evaluate, and report on the impact of corporate activities on the environment, society, and corporate governance. Your expertise will help Anaplan mitigate risks while addressing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance and ensuring compliance with the existing and new reporting standards. At the same time, you will develop strategies to achieve sustainability goals and integrate them into the company's overall strategy.
- Develop and implement ESG policies and programs that align with the company's strategy
- Manage the operationalization of Anaplan’s short and long-term emission reduction targets through the development of environmental initiatives and thoughtful partnership with internal and external stakeholders
- Engage with stakeholders including shareholders, customers, employees, and suppliers on ESG matters
- Spearhead the preparation of annual carbon emissions inventory and responses to various reporting frameworks (including EcoVadis and CDP)
- Prepare annual sustainability report
- Coordinate the prompt completion of ESG related customer and supplier requests
- Manage data governance and reporting assurance process for all publicly disclosed data sets in partnership with accounting and legal teams
- Report on ESG performance and progress to senior management and stakeholders
- Partner with other departments to integrate ESG considerations into decision-making processes
- Conduct research and analysis on environmental, social, and governance issues, best practices and trends
- Stay current with regulatory and industry developments related to ESG and communicate this information to relevant parties, ensuring compliance with the new reporting Directives and Regulations (such as CSRD, EU Taxonomy)
- Provide training and support to employees on ESG-related topics
- Develop resources such as reference decks and tip sheets to support customer and supplier engagement
Your Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience in sustainability-related frameworks and standards (ie. EU Taxonomy, CSRD, ISSB, GRI, UN SDGs, SASB, TCFD, CDP, GHG protocol) within a corporate setting
- Understanding of and ability to articulate clearly the key sustainability issues and trends and how they link to business value
- Deep knowledge of policies, procedures and controls needed to support sustainability reporting, including financial and non-financial reporting processes
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, sustainability, business, or a related field; master’s degree preferred
- Certifications in ESG or sustainability-related programs, preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex and detailed information and communicate it clearly
- Proven experience in project management with the ability to manage multiple projects while meeting compressed timelines
- Excellent presentation skills
Base Salary Range:
$147,000 - $198,000 USD
