Appodeal is looking for an experienced Lead Product Manager to define, champion, and execute the overarching product strategy for our casual mobile games, overseeing multiple product lines and the teams responsible for them.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience within the mobile gaming industry, particularly with casual genres like puzzles, word games, and card games. You will be responsible for setting the strategic vision, guiding product managers in designing and executing their roadmaps, and ensuring all product initiatives align with company goals and market opportunities, all while maintaining a strong data-centric approach.
You will lead and mentor an international team of Product Managers and collaborate extensively with cross-functional leaders in development, QA, marketing, and business development.

Job Responsibilities
- Strategic Vision & Leadership: Define and champion the long-term product vision and strategy for multiple casual mobile game product lines, aligning with overall company objectives.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Product Managers, fostering their growth and ensuring high performance and collaboration.
- Portfolio Management: Oversee the entire product portfolio, prioritizing initiatives, allocating resources effectively, and ensuring a cohesive product experience across games.
- Market & Competitor Intelligence: Drive comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and threats, informing strategic decisions.
- Performance Optimization: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for the product portfolio, regularly reviewing performance, and implementing strategies for continuous improvement and sustained growth.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with engineering, design, QA, marketing, and business development leaders to ensure seamless execution of the product roadmap and successful product launches.
- Innovation & Experimentation: Champion a culture of data-driven experimentation, A/B testing, and hypothesis generation to continually innovate and optimize the player experience and monetization.
- Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate product strategy, roadmaps, and performance to executive leadership and other key stakeholders.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges in product development and deployment, developing mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of proven experience in the mobile gaming industry, with a strong focus on casual genres (card, word, or blocks) and ad monetization.
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership role, managing and mentoring Product Managers or product teams.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex market dynamics into actionable product strategies.
- Expertise in data analysis and interpretation, with advanced proficiency in analytics tools and methodologies to drive data-informed decision-making at a portfolio level.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and collaborating effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- A strong growth mindset, with a track record of fostering innovation, adapting to change, and leading teams through evolving market landscapes.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications

- Experience managing large, international mobile engineering or product teams.
- A background in strategic consulting or corporate strategy, particularly within the technology or gaming sectors.
