Senior Videographer

Location: This will be an Office-based role in Bucharest (3-4 days a week)

 

We are looking for an experienced Senior Videographer to lead our video production efforts, from concept development to final editing. The ideal candidate will have a strong creative vision, technical expertise in video production, and the ability to tell compelling visual stories. This role requires excellent leadership skills, as you will oversee junior videographers, manage production schedules, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Video Production & Filming:

    • Plan, shoot, and produce high-quality videos for marketing campaigns, social media, events, and corporate communications.
    • Operate professional camera equipment, lighting, and audio gear.
    • Ensure excellent framing, composition, and visual storytelling in all productions.
  • Editing & Post-Production:

    • Edit raw footage into polished videos using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro.
    • Incorporate motion graphics, animations, transitions, and special effects as needed.
    • Optimize video content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and advertisements.
  • Creative Direction & Strategy:

    • Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to develop video concepts aligned with brand messaging.
    • Stay updated with the latest video trends, techniques, and industry best practices.
    • Provide creative input on scripts, storyboards, and visual aesthetics.
  • Equipment & Asset Management:
    • Maintain and organize video production equipment, ensuring it is in top condition.
    • Manage video archives and digital asset libraries for easy retrieval and repurposing.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 5+ years of experience in videography, filmmaking, or a related field.
    • Proven portfolio showcasing professional video production work.
  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in professional video cameras (Sony, Canon, RED, Blackmagic, etc.).
    • Expertise in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, etc.).
    • Knowledge of lighting, color grading, audio mixing, and motion graphics.
    • Experience in drone videography and 360-degree video is a plus.
  • Soft Skills:

    • Strong storytelling and creative problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management abilities.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A degree in Film, Media Production, Communication, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a marketing, media, or production agency.
  • Knowledge of live streaming and multi-camera productions.
