Location: This will be an Office-based role in Bucharest (3-4 days a week)

 

As the Data Stewardship Manager, you will be the driving force behind our data hygiene and optimization efforts, ensuring our database is continuously enriched and performing at its peak. Working as an integral part of the Marketing Operations team, you will obsess over data accuracy, governance, and scalability, and serve as the steward of our data ecosystem. This role is critical in enabling the organization to unlock the full monetary and strategic value of its data assets, while driving data-driven decisions across the business.

 

What you will do:

  • Data Strategy Execution: Interpret, articulate, and apply the principles of our data strategy to address moderately complex business challenges across multiple functions or domains.
  • Data Governance and Quality Management:
    • Identify and integrate suitable data sources while ensuring data quality through robust checks and governance practices.
    • Implement processes to manage and resolve data quality issues, maintaining master data and metadata across the organization.
  • Database Optimization: Proactively analyze and optimize the database to ensure accessibility, scalability, and enrichment.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with business stakeholders within and outside the broader Marketing team to solve complex problems, translate business requirements into actionable projects, and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Data Compliance: Ensure alignment with industry standards and best practices for data governance, compliance, and stewardship.
  • Innovation and Insights: Leverage analytics, automation, and big data techniques to deliver actionable business insights and improve the value of data assets.

 

What we expect:

  • Minimum of 4 years experience in a similar role
  • Certified in Marketo administration (or ability to acquire certification within the role).
  • Strong experience with data analysis, documentation, quality monitoring, and SQL.
  • Practical knowledge of data governance, compliance, and stewardship best practices.
  • Familiarity with analytics and automation tools, big data techniques, and relevant technologies.
  • Deep understanding of business context, industry trends, and organizational goals.
  • Proven ability to align data initiatives with business strategy and metrics.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence key decision-makers.
  • Self-motivated, task-oriented, and organized, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: obsession with quality and a strong focus on internal and external customer needs.
  • Passion for data and its ability to drive impactful business decisions.
