About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Partner and Product Compliance Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our partnerships and product offerings align with regulatory, risk, and compliance requirements as well as industry best practices.

The ideal candidate will: (i) ensure a smooth onboarding process by meeting partners' compliance requirements, (ii) oversee the entire due diligence lifecycle, including assessing partner risks and ensuring adherence to both internal and external compliance frameworks, (iii) ensure ongoing compliance of our products throughout their lifecycle, and (iv) collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to establish and maintain a robust compliance framework for our products and partnerships.

Reporting to the Global Partner and Product Lead, this pivotal role uniquely blends partner due diligence and product compliance, offering an opportunity to shape a compliant product suite while driving the growth of our global partnerships.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Partner Compliance

  • Work closely with the Network Partnerships team to ensure we meet all compliance requests of global financial partners (including banks and Payment Service Providers) during onboarding and throughout the partnership lifecycle 
  • Ensure the partners complete our internal due diligence questionnaire for onboarding and approved
  • Conduct ongoing due diligence and maintain up-to-date records for partnerships
  • Align on partner risk appetite and evaluate compliance operating models for the partnerships 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for compliance-related matters with the partners

Product Compliance

  • Support product launches by scoping and identifying compliance requirements for new and modified products 
  • Communicate our compliance framework and requirements to all relevant stakeholders (internal and external)
  • Engage cross-functionally (with groups such as Compliance, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Product, and Risk) to to identify and mitigate compliance risks across the product lifecycle
  • Remain up-to-date on regulatory changes and landscape, best practices and cutting-edge developments in the industry

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • Prior experience in compliance within the payments or fintech space preferred 
  • Proven leadership and project management skills to drive alignment across stakeholder groups 
  • Ability to analyse and assess projects and initiatives with high risk and complexity; 
  • Self-motivated, critical thinker, and adept at multitasking
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact and lead discussions comfortably with various stakeholders
  • Proven ability to work within and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications such as CAMS or ICA. 
  • Combined experience of product compliance advisory and partner due diligence
  • Strong understanding of the payment and fintech industry
