Axle is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our vibrant team at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) supporting the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) located in Rockville, MD.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement testing plans for software, systems and services

Identify procedures and scenarios for the quality control of products and services

Process reviews and inform the development team of defects and errors
-
Communicate quantitative and qualitative findings from test results to the development team

Monitor efforts to resolve issues, track and report on progress
-
Ensure that the final product satisfies the product requirements and meets end-user expectations
-
Spot areas for improvement to enhance efficiency
-
Research the current market for similar products and compare results
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar field. Master’s degree preferred

Minimum 5 years of quality assurance (QA) experience supporting federal programs
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, keen attention to detail
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-
Creative and innovative thinker
-
High regard for safety standards and quality control
-
Able to sit or stand for long hours at a time
-
Previous NIH or federal experience is a plus
