Expansion Development Representative Intern
Please Note: This is a Utah-based hybrid position which will require some regular in-office days each week. Additionally, employment with BambooHR is contingent on passing both a background and credit check.
Essential Job Duties
BambooHR’s Expansion Sales team enhances customer value by matching the right products to the right customers and building strong relationships. As an Expansion Sales Development Representative (EDR) Intern, you'll help empower clients by identifying and qualifying opportunities within our existing customer base. This high-energy role requires enthusiasm and excellent communication to uncover additional value for customers. You'll also collaborate on team projects, contributing to revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and retention.
You will:
- Identify and qualify sales opportunities in existing customer accounts and connect them with Expansion Account Executives.
- Develop expertise in BambooHR's products to educate clients, maximize value, and deliver quality leads to the Expansion Sales team
- Conduct outreach via calls and emails to drive interest in additional services/products
- Assist the Expansion team with projects and ongoing process updates as needed
- Bring your best, full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (no nights or weekends, woohoo!)
**This will be a paid, full-time internship running from May to August 2025, based in Draper, Utah with a mix of in-office and virtual work.
What You Need to Get the Job Done
- Pursuing a degree in sales, marketing, business or related fields
- Strong understanding of customer needs and ability to position solutions effectively
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, with a focus on team success
- Strong proficiency in computer skills and software applications
- Strong analytical skills to assess account performance and growth potential while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Must reside (or be willing to relocate) to Utah
