Senior UI Developer

Job Summary

We are hiring a Senior UI Developer to lead the front-end modernization of Catch-e’s user interface. You will be responsible for refactoring legacy jQuery-based UI components and rebuilding the Driver Portal using a modern JavaScript framework such as React or Vue. Your work will directly impact usability, accessibility, and long-term maintainability across the platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Migrate legacy UI components to a modern framework (React or Vue preferred).
• Renovate all aspects of the Catch-e UI, introduce effective workflows with responsive design.
• Establish reusable design systems and UI component libraries.
• Drive front-end test automation and CI/CD integration.
• Ensure accessibility compliance (WCAG) and cross-browser support.
• Collaborate with API, QA, and Product teams to align on functionality.
• Provide input into UX and usability improvements.

Required Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in front-end web development.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, React.js or Vue.js.
• Demonstrated experience migrating and refactoring legacy UI codebases.
• Familiarity with build tools (Vite, Webpack, VSCode, Cursor), version control (Git), and testing frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, Jest).
• Excellent understanding of responsive design and accessibility best practices.
• The candidate must have a strong understanding of an AI IDE and how to leverage it to accelerate software development projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating front-end code development processes into CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Storybook or other design system frameworks.
• Understanding of financial workflows, quoting systems, or data-heavy UI environments.
