Managing Director Denmark

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Full P&L Responsibility: Own the full P&L of the Danish market, driving customer experience, lifecycle management, and revenue growth through strategic initiatives. 
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a best-in-class team of local experts and professionals, fostering a high-performance culture. 
  • Revenue Growth: Monetize customers through effective strategies and initiatives, focusing on upselling, cross-selling, and maximizing customer lifetime value. 
  • Local Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement market-specific strategies and plans. Manage the local budget and oversee quarterly local market and CRM plans in collaboration with Central teams. 
  • Customer Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire customer lifecycle, from acquisition to retention, ensuring a seamless and engaging customer journey. 
  • Marketing Execution: Drive brand awareness through a mix of onsite and offsite marketing channels, ensuring alignment with market trends and local customer behaviour. 
  • Customer Engagement & Experience: Ensure customer engagement through targeted marketing and optimized site experiences. Proactively identify opportunities to improve the customer journey. 
  • Operational Excellence: Optimize daily operations to enhance quarterly performance and achieve annual revenue targets. 
  • Compliance: Ensure all market executions comply with local regulations and company standards. 
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to ensure the company remains competitive and innovative 
  • Market networking: Take part of trade association work, regulatory forums and local media updates.  

Requirements: 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred. 
  • Experience: Proven P&L management and business growth experience in the Danish market, ideally in e-commerce, retail, or digital marketing. 
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing high-performing teams. 
  • Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the Danish market, including customer behaviour, trends, and regulations. 
  • Analytical & Strategic Skills: Data-driven with strong analytical skills and the ability to translate strategy into action. 
  • Customer Focus: Passion for enhancing customer experience and engagement. 
  • Languages: Native proficiency in Danish and fluent in English. 
  • Compliance: Familiarity with Danish regulations, consumer protection, and advertising standards. 
  • Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills.
