Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Project or Program Manager to support our Philanthropies Business Group initiatives. In this role, you will assist in planning, coordinating, and executing projects that drive operational improvements and enable technology solutions. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, gaining exposure to project lifecycle management, process improvement, and tools like Power BI, Power Automate, and Microsoft Project.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in gathering and documenting business and technical requirements for program initiatives.

Support the definition, planning, and tracking of small to mid-size projects under senior guidance.

Help prepare and maintain project schedules, status reports, and documentation.

Coordinate communication between stakeholders, engineering teams, and internal users.

Participate in process mapping and support development of solutions that meet program needs.

Learn and apply Microsoft tools (Power BI, Power Automate, Teams, SharePoint) to support business processes and reporting.

Assist in the preparation of data-driven reports and dashboards using SQL and/or Power BI.

Help manage task tracking, escalate issues as needed, and follow up on action items.

Contribute to project testing, documentation, and post-implementation reviews.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

1–3 years of professional experience in project coordination, business analysis, or operations.

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Familiarity with project management tools like Microsoft Project, Planner, or Excel.

Some exposure to data tools such as SQL, Power BI, or Excel for analysis and reporting.

Interest in technology, process improvement, and program execution.
Preferred Skills:
-
Experience or coursework in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).

Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) is a plus.

Ability to learn quickly and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

A proactive, collaborative attitude with a strong willingness to learn and grow.

Salary Range
Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position, based on Washington state market data, is $88,000 to $108,000 USD annually, with a midpoint of $98,000. The final salary and job title will be determined based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may fall outside this range.
