The Opportunity
The Security Program Coordinator supports the Global Security Organization in the planning, execution, and reporting of security initiatives across the organization. This role is responsible for creating project documentation, developing executive presentations, collecting and consolidating data from cross-functional teams, generating reports, and assisting with day-to-day project operations.
This is an early-career role ideal for someone looking to build experience in cybersecurity, project management, and enterprise governance.
What you’ll do
Project Documentation & Reporting
- Create and maintain project documentation including charters, project plans, RAID logs (Risks, Actions, Issues, Dependencies), status reports, and meeting notes.
- Develop executive-ready PowerPoint presentations and dashboards for leadership updates.
- Track milestones, deliverables, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Prepare weekly and monthly program reports.
Data Collection & Analysis
- Gather and consolidate status updates from multiple teams (security, IT, infrastructure, engineering, compliance).
- Run and distribute reports from systems such as Jira, ServiceNow, Smartsheet, or other project management tools.
- Maintain trackers for remediation efforts, vulnerabilities, audit findings, or other security initiatives.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reporting artifacts.
Meeting & Operational Support
- Schedule and coordinate project meetings.
- Capture meeting minutes and action items.
- Follow up with stakeholders to ensure task completion.
- Help manage project calendars and timelines.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Act as a liaison between project stakeholders to collect updates and clarify deliverables.
- Support communication efforts across business units.
- Assist with onboarding new initiatives into the security portfolio.
Administrative & PMO Support
- Maintain centralized repositories for project artifacts.
- Assist with process documentation and continuous improvement efforts.
- Provide general support to the Security Project/Program Manager as needed.
- Help assign and administer security trainings
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 0–2 years of experience in project coordination, PMO support, business analysis, or IT support.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Ability to organize information clearly and present it professionally.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Familiarity with project management tools (Jira, ServiceNow, MS Project, Smartsheet).
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts and terminology.
- Experience creating dashboards or visual reports.
- Exposure to Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
