Digital Product Manager, NYC (hybrid)

All prospective candidates must currently reside in the NYC Metro area and be able to reliably commute to our Corporate HQ in Manhattan 2-3x/week

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Product Manager to drive the roadmap and execution of Convene’s digital products as we continue to evolve towards becoming a more tech-enabled organization.This opportunity is suited for someone who excels in creating excellent consumer experiences, internal process improvement, project management, empathy, data-driven decision making, and an overall understanding of digital technology in the office environment. 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Contribute to the product vision and support the development of the roadmap for Convene’s customer-facing tools
  • Identify opportunities to optimize the user journey across acquisition, conversion, retention, and loyalty stages.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize features and enhancements; balancing business value, user needs, and technical feasibility.
  • Help communicate and reinforce the product vision across internal teams
  • Contribute to defining success metrics and quarterly goals with the Technology team to measure success individually while also managing the product roadmap.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with design, engineering, marketing, sales, and other stakeholders to align on priorities, communicate product vision, and ensure smooth execution across teams.
  • Establish repeatable procedures, in collaboration with business stakeholders, to reliably roll changes out to the organization in order to see rapid, iterative improvements.
  • Create detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for features and enhancements.
  • Oversee sprint planning and backlog grooming, ensuring alignment with the roadmap and quarterly goals.
  • Develop and implement workflows that enable efficient customer retention strategies, email marketing campaigns, and loyalty programs.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously without sacrificing quality
  • Define, track, and analyze KPIs such as engagement, retention, and conversion guide prioritization.
  • Leverage product analytics tools and user insights to drive prioritization, measure impact, and champion a data-informed culture across the organization
  • Support the implementation and integration of financial systems, including the setup of foundational processes and a future migration to a new CRM and ERP environment.

What We Look For:

Product Management Expertise

  • Expertise with agile methodologies, the Product Owner role specifically,  and working with agile tools, such as Jira
  • Ability to balance long-term goals with short-term priorities.
  • Skilled at identifying opportunities to improve products based on market trends, user feedback, and quick iterative wins for the business. 
  • Substantial Product Management experience covering both user-facing and non-user-facing products.
  • Ability to quickly absorb technical concepts and effectively simplify and communicate them to a non-technical audience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Creative problem solving; able to identify real obstacles and viable solutions.
  • Outcome-oriented; not reactionary; articulates the desired outcome and works collaboratively to create a path to achieve it.
  • Solid understanding of financial metrics (e.g., cost-benefit analysis, customer acquisition cost, and ROI).
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Apply prioritization frameworks (e.g., RICE, MoSCoW) to ensure product decisions align with business goals
  • Incorporate user insights through interviews, surveys, and usability testing to validate product decisions
  • Comfortable documenting requirements, decisions, and roadmaps in tools like Confluence or Google Workspace

Technical and Analytical Skills

  • Strong understanding of APIs, data flows, and system integrations to effectively communicate with developers.
  • Deep understanding of funnel metrics, customer journeys, UX best practices, and conversion optimization techniques.

Additional Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of SEO principles and digital marketing best practices.
  • Certifications in product management (e.g., Pragmatic Institute, CSPO).
  • Knowledge with documentation of tools like Confluence Google Workspace
  • Experience with system migrations, ERP or CRM integrations, or financial tools is a strong plus.

 

Compensation:

Base Salary:

Salary Min: $110,000  Salary Max: $125,000

This role is also eligible for Convene's annual incentive performance bonus plan.

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
