Job Overview:
The Marketing Strategy and Operations team at Coursera partners with all areas of the marketing organization and the enterprise sales team to drive revenue, design and execute marketing strategies, and lead internal processes to enhance productivity, leverage, and efficiency.
The Marketing Operations Business Partner involves close collaboration with key marketing stakeholders to understand their objectives, resources, and challenges. The ideal candidate will leverage this input to develop and implement strategic programs that deliver substantial value and utility. In addition, this role will explore and integrate best practices from across the company while working with cross-functional teams to embed these practices within the teams they support.
Responsibilities:
- Work with key marketing stakeholders to understand their strategic objectives and operational challenges. Translate stakeholder input into actionable, strategic programs that align with business goals.
- Develop high-impact programs that deliver positive outcomes and add significant value. Create program charter and roadmap with problem statements, in/out of scope, work-streams, resources, risks, and success metrics.
- Orchestrate cross-functional governance (interlocks, steering meetings, status cadences) to keep programs on track while identifying and documenting best practices from various departments within the company.
- Establish KPI frameworks and dashboards, ensure pre-launch tracking/attribution, analyze funnel performance, and report status, risks, and insights to drive action.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5 - 7 years of proven experience in marketing operations, with a proven track record of developing and implementing strategic programs.
- Working knowledge of Marketing Automation Platforms (MAPs), Salesforce CRM, and Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) is required.
- Experience with Marketing Attribution models (single touch and multi-touch) and BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to balance stakeholder needs, translate business requirements into technical designs, and manage the development and deployment of marketing tools.
- Experience in effectively communicating complex problems, proposing business solutions, and managing stakeholders’ expectations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced project/program management skills with the ability to manage competing deliverables and timelines with cross-functional partners.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to speak in front of senior audiences as well as write clearly, concisely, and compellingly.
- Strong analytical skills to assess challenges and develop data-driven solutions.

The range(s) listed above is the expected annual base salary for this role, subject to change.
Salary is just one component of Coursera’s total rewards package. All regular employees are also eligible for a bonus program and equity in the form of RSUs.
A number of factors are taken into account when determining pay, which includes: job level, location, training/education, business need, skill set, and internal equity.
