Human Resources Coordinator

The Human Resources Coordinator (HR Coordinator) offers administrative support for the Talent and Human Resources Team. In this role, the Human Resources Coordinator will; take on the responsibility of guiding all candidates, Interns and Contractors through the new hire process by answering questions, communicating needs, collecting documents, ordering pre-hire checks and tests and completing the new hire process.The HR Coordinator will also complete ongoing compliance requirements for all staff members which includes- BCI, FBI, SACWIS, BMV, Physicals and Medicaid checks; maintaining employee personnel files and tracking credentials. This individual will plan and deliver hire orientations, assist with open enrollment and special HR projects as needed. This position is onsite at 9220 Mentor Ave., Mentor, OH.
More specifically, primary duties for this position include:
- Supports the Talent function by managing the pre-boarding process from offer acceptance to orientation.
- Communicate with new hires as to what to expect during onboarding and being the point person for any questions.
- Collecting all necessary documentation and ensuring that all pre-hire requirements are scheduled and completed for new hires in a timely fashion.
- Prepares, schedules, and facilitates New Hire Orientations.
- Maintaining employee personnel files and tracking credentials.
- Scheduling trainings, planning events and any other support that is needed for the employees and HR team.
Primary Requirements for this role:
- High school diploma required. Bachelor's in Human Resources or related field preferred.
- Two (2) years' experience in an Human Resources administrative role.
- Experience in Non-profit or Healthcare organization preferred.
- Experience with any HRIS (ADP WorkForce Now preferred), or ATS (Greenhouse preferred).
- Expert level with Microsoft 365 products
- Must have excellent organization and communication skills (both verbal and written) and a professional manner.
