The Role

We are seeking a Director, HR Global Operations to design and scale programs, processes, systems, and policies across the full employee lifecycle—anchored in our mission, values, and culture, and with a strong emphasis on the employee experience.
This role will drive key talent priorities, including onboarding and offboarding, total rewards, HR systems and analytics, risk management and compliance, and supporting growth through international expansion and M&A activity.
As a senior leader within People Operations, you will shape the team’s culture and capabilities during this exciting phase of growth. You’ll mentor, coach, and empower your team—as well as leaders across the organization—to reach their highest potential. This role reports directly to our VP, People Foundation.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Employee Experience & Lifecycle
- Transform people operations by building scalable systems and processes in partnership with benefits, compensation, compliance, HRIS, talent, and business partners.
- Streamline and automate workflows to enhance employee experience and support growth.
- Utilize AI and Agentic AI solutions to deliver exceptional outcomes.
- Ensure accurate, timely payroll, benefits, and compliance delivery.
- Partner cross-functionally to deliver integrated, employee-first solutions.
- Lead and continuously improve the HR Service Delivery model.
People Systems, Mechanisms, & Insights
- Drive a data-driven approach through optimized HR systems and processes.
- Use data, dashboards, and reporting to provide actionable insights and measure outcomes.
- Prioritize work based on level of impact, effort and business priority.
Compliance & Risk
- Oversee all policies, training, audits, and reporting requirements.
- Maintain strong internal controls and reduce organizational risk.
- Deep understanding and experience with geographic and country-specific requirements.
People Leadership
- Lead a global team of People Operations Managers and Specialists.
- Develop a program to build functional and enduring skills within the team.
What You’ll Need
- 15+ years of progressive experience in People Operations, with a proven record of delivering transformational impact across global teams and functions.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field.
- Expertise in building and scaling Global HR programs (payroll, benefits, analytics, etc.) from design through successful rollout in high-growth organizations.
- Hands-on experience with Global HRIS implementation and administration, including vendor selection, process optimization, and workflow design.
- Strong data orientation—skilled in translating people data into actionable insights that drive employee engagement, development, and organizational success.
- Deep knowledge of HR best practices, with the ability to ensure compliance while enabling flexibility and growth.
- Global perspective, with a track record of successfully expanding HR operations into new regions and adapting approaches to diverse cultural and regulatory landscapes.
- Collaborative leader, adept at building partnerships across recruiting, payroll, IT, finance, and other teams.
- Clear and compelling communicator, both in writing and presenting to leadership.
Strategic yet hands-on, comfortable shifting between long-term vision and day-to-day operational needs in a dynamic environment. - Thrives in ambiguity, using sound judgment to resolve complex challenges.
- Passionate about people success, with a strong service mindset and commitment to growth and development.
- Experience in the tech industry is strongly preferred.
