Objective of the Role

As a Senior Technical Data Architect, you will be instrumental in shaping our data architecture strategy and architecture. You will work in an autonomous environment that encourages innovation and ownership. Additionally, you will act as a culture ambassador, promoting our values and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Data Architecture Design: Develop and maintain comprehensive data architecture frameworks aligned with business goals.
  • Data Integration: Oversee the integration of diverse data sources, ensuring seamless data flow and consistency.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Data Engineering Chapter Lead, Data Model Lead, and DataOps Lead.
  • Solution Development: Design and implement data solutions, including data warehouses, data lakes, DTL, and ETL processes with Data Engineering, and Data Framework Engineering.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize data systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure data solutions comply with security standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Innovation: Drive innovation in data architecture and engineering practices.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of data architectures, processes, and standards.
  • Data Quality: Implement and oversee data quality frameworks to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  • Project Management: Lead data-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
  • Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for team members on new technologies and best practices.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
  • Promote an autonomous work culture by encouraging self-management, accountability, and proactive problem-solving among team members.
  • Serve as a Spin Culture Ambassador to foster and maintain a positive, inclusive, and dynamic work environment that aligns with the company's values and culture.

 

Required Knowledge and Experience

 

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in data architecture, AI architecture, data engineering, or related roles.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in data modeling, database design, SQL, DTL, and ETL tools. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and big data technologies (e.g., Databricks, Hadoop, Spark).
    • Real time data architecture (e.g., Integration between Kinesis and Databricks).
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, and a proactive approach to learning and innovation.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience with machine learning and AI-driven data solutions.
    • Familiarity with data governance and data quality frameworks.
    • Certification in cloud platforms or data management.
  • English Level: Advanced
