What your day will look like
- Maintain and support the chart of accounts and related structures.
- Ensure the maintenance of management and control systems, monitoring closing indicators (KPIs).
- Perform monthly reconciliations between accounting and managerial figures, guaranteeing consistency and accuracy.
- Manage the intercompany map, including creating new accounts, analyzing differences, and reporting to the Group.
- Support the implementation and development of the GRP SAP (Group Reporting) and other finance-related systems.
- Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements under IFRS.
- Collaborate with internal and external audit processes, providing information and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Propose and lead continuous improvements in closing processes, internal controls, and accounting routines.
- Work closely with global teams in a fully remote, multinational environment.
- Handle large volumes of data using Excel, SAP, Alteryx, Power BI, or similar analytical tools.
- Operate independently, making decisions and acting proactively without constant supervision.
What you’ll need to shine
- Experience in accounting or financial operations.
- Strong command of Excel (advanced level).
- Experience with SAP and familiarity with tools such as Alteryx and Microsoft Power BI (or similar).
- Ability to work independently, take risks, and make decisions autonomously.
- Fluency in English (advanced) and Spanish;
- Ability to understand Portuguese or willingness to learn new languages.
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with global and multicultural teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Nice to have
- Previous experience in multinational or technology-driven companies.
- Background in IFRS, financial statements, and intercompany processes.
- Experience with consolidation systems.
- High adaptability, fast learning, and strong communication skills.
