Senior Manager, FP&A (Hybrid)

About the Role:

Enova is currently searching for an ambitious Senior Manager to join our Finance team.  In this role, you will be responsible for forecasting Enova’s balance sheet and interest expense, overseeing Enova’s unit economics framework, and supporting Corporate Development efforts.  The ideal candidate will be a skillful leader with a deep understanding of financial management principles, knowledge of asset-liability management principles and demonstrated success in a high-growth, dynamic and fast-paced environment who will be expected to partner across the organization at all levels to drive strategic growth and shareholder value, optimize balance sheet structure, and own key strategic projects and analyses. This position will report to the Director of FP&A. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and analyze short and long-term balance sheet and interest expense forecasts through collaboration with Treasury and other key stakeholders
  • Evolve Enova’s asset-liability capabilities, particularly liquidity risk management and interest rate risk management
  • Drive profitable company growth by owning and facilitating execution across the organization of unit economics and return on invested capital analysis
  • Collaborate with Capital Markets, Corporate Development, external advisors, and business unit leadership to evaluate financing options and the strategic and financial impacts of acquisitions and new initiatives
  • Facilitate strategic and tactical decision making by developing high-impact analyses assessing potential portfolio adjustments, new product and market opportunities, and relevant industry trends to support prioritization and optimization of capital investment 
  • Partner with department heads to pursue optimal cost structure through close evaluation of costs necessary to support organizational goals
  • Author and deliver impactful presentations, distilling complex ideas and opportunities into actionable insights including materials to communicate company achievements, strategy, and outlook to internal and external stakeholders 
  • Manage and mentor a team of analysts through a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and professional development

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other related field (MBA, CFA or CPA a plus)
  • 7+ years in company finance, corporate banking, investment banking, public accounting, or consulting
  • Advanced Excel skills and integrated financial statement modeling knowledge
  • Possesses strong critical thinking skills in preparing and communicating meaningful and insightful analysis
  • Ability to influence successfully at all levels of the organization, synthesizing insights and conclusions into organized and impactful communications to senior management
  • Demonstrates responsibility, accountability, and follow through when working on projects, even under ambiguous circumstances
  • Capable of cooperating with cross-functional teams, transforming complicated issues into structured plans and actionable steps
  • Helpful but not required:
    • Exposure to the lending or broader financial services industries
    • Certification or progress toward CPA, CFA or MBA
    • Systems knowledge - ERP (Workday), FP&A modeling tools/databases, CPM software (MicroStrategy)

The budgeted annual salary range for this position is $123,000 to $178,000. Actual annual salary will be determined based on qualifications, skills, experience, and level assessed during the hiring process and may fall outside of the range shown. Additional compensation for this role may include a bonus and restricted stock units. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in Company benefits, described in more detail here.
