We are looking for a Regional Controller, who will support the financial operations of the region, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and the accuracy of financial reporting. Working closely with the Global Controller, this role oversees accounting functions, manages financial processes, and provides analysis to support strategic decision-making within the region. The Regional Controller plays a critical role in maintaining financial controls, supporting audits, and driving process improvements to enhance regional financial performance.

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field 
  • 5-7 years of experience in accounting or finance, including at least 2 years in a managerial role 
  • Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting principles
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and data analysis 
  • Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills 
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving abilities 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams 
  • High ethical standards with a commitment to confidentiality and integrity 

Nice to Have 

  • CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification 

English level

Responsibilities 

  • Prepare accurate, compliant regional financial statements and lead month-end/year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Review monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, providing financial insights to support management decisions
  • Ensure timely VAT, CIT, and other local tax filings; prepare required regulatory reports (e.g., NBP, GUS)
  • Assist in regional budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning through data analysis and projections
  • Conduct financial analysis (profitability, cost control, trends) and provide recommendations to improve performance
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing, resolving discrepancies, and monitoring balances
  • Implement and maintain internal controls; conduct regular audits to ensure compliance and data integrity
  • Support internal and external audit processes, prepare documentation, and drive corrective actions based on findings
  • Identify and implement improvements in accounting procedures, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency
  • Oversee KSEF (e-invoicing) implementation and collaborate cross-functionally to enhance financial operations
  • Supervise regional accounting and payroll teams, fostering performance, accountability, and development
