Your Role:

As the Senior IT Systems Engineer, you'll be working with some of the industry's brightest minds to ensure corporate server and storage infrastructure is delivering secure, reliable services. You will design and implement the IT infrastructure. And you will oversee the daily operations in the area of server, storage, and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Designs, plans and implements software/hardware to facilitate efficient management of hybrid cloud and on-premises data center including highly available servers, systems and storage environments
  • Oversee daily operations in the area of server/ storage, and cloud infrastructure
  • Design various automation scripts to handle routine tasks on various applications and systems to increase proactivity and efficiency
  • Performing incident management and ensuring issue & root cause analysis and problem management
  • Monitors ticketing system and alerts from managed systems to ensure timely response and resolution
  • Define standard operating procedures and policies, and drive compliance
  • Designs, evaluates and installs various operating systems (OS’s), including Windows, Linux/Unix, and VMware
  • Recommend improvements to existing systems and processes
  • Defining and analyzing KPI to ensure site reliability and performance
  • Collaborate with business process owners, internal and external IT teams to design, deliver, and support dynamic & flexible IT systems for automotive manufacturing
  • Assist with making software and hardware recommendations including researching new technology products that could benefit the organization
  • Ownership of security patching process
  • Lead and implement change initiatives within the organization in accordance with Change Management methodologies as well as industry security and compliance procedures
  • Demonstrates accountability and contributions to the successful realization of project goals
  • Responsible for reporting project progress and issues to senior management on a regular basis
  • Work collaboratively with the IT team and the business to maintain data & system integrity
  • Keep current on trends and technology solutions in similar organizations
  • Maintain positive relationships with third-party technology partners and Faraday Future staff

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in any of the fields or equivalent - Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or minimum of 8 years of experience in similar capacity
  • Design, operate, implement, and troubleshoot systems in a hybrid cloud and on-premises 24x7 production data center
  • Experience administering Active Directory and Azure AD. User Account creation, automation, and role-based access control
  • Proficient in writing, reading, and debugging complex PowerShell scripts
  • Knowledge of Cloud Applications (e.g. Office 365, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint) and Public Cloud Administration (Azure, AWS, Google)
  • Possess technical expertise in multiple enterprise server operating systems (Windows, Linux/Unix, VMware)
  • Server Administration: Windows Server, Linux Server, Windows Server Update Services (WSUS), VPN Solutions, Certificate Management, DNS, DHCP, and Firewalls
  • Server Virtualization (VMware)
  • Storage Administration
  • Enterprise Backup & Restore, Cloud Backup and Restore, and Disaster Recovery planning and testing (Veeam)
  • Experience with Enterprise Monitoring Systems
  • Project Management and System Implementation experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of developing and providing Service Level Agreements and KPI deliverables
  • Manufacturing and Automotive industry experience preferred
  • Self-driven and highly passionate about customer-service orientation and providing excellent service
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong metric focus to demonstrate success and opportunities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment & able to perform as individual when needed
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong documentation skills
  • A creative curiosity, collaborative ethic, hardworking enthusiasm, and driving personal vision
  • A penchant for multi-tasking and self-starting
  • A true sense of determination and meet deadlines
  • Time-management skills and the ability to establish reasonable and attainable deadlines for resolution and prioritize workload efficiently in a high-pressure environment

Annual Salary Range:

($115,000 - $140,000), plus benefits and incentive plans
