Global Supply Chain Manager

Position Overview

Our operation team at Fellow is looking for a Global Supply Chain Manager, the role is responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of the assigned projects or products, including costing, manufacturing, delivery at global scale. He/she needs to manage business relationships with CMs, monitor KPI and performance, identify and mitigate risks of supply contingencies, ensure compliance, and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to optimize supply chain efficiency and achieve Fellow strategic goals.

 

Responsibilities

Global Supply Chain Management:

  • Execute global 3rd party Contract Manufacturing Supply Chain strategies for Fellow businesses.
  • Overall ownership of Contract Manufacturers’ performance management.
  • Set up global supply chain to optimize logistics solutions, ensure on-time delivery and continuously drive cost savings and material readiness from NPI process through MP.
  • Collaborate with HQ global operations and planning team to evaluate and design how to optimize the global capacity, capability and cost opportunities within supply chains to meet business needs and program requirements.
  • Insure all regulatory and compliance measures are met within global guidelines.

Project Management:

  • Engage in the early stage of new product development and CM/vendor bidding and selection process and provide the cost analysis to facilitate design and business decisions.
  • Lead and manage negotiation for contract, cost and commercial needs for assigned projects/products to meet financial/cost KPIs.
  • Need the person to station onsite and work collaboratively with supply chain operation and planning team of CM in terms of production scheduling, material planning, E&O management and logistics to achieve shipment target and manage inventory control.
  • Manage and communicate the accessible capacity of CM for the purpose of demand/supply planning.
  • Deliver quality products by collaborating with Engineering team and Operations team to address and solve technical issues.
  • Lead, drive and communicate day to day CM improvement to increase/achieve key KPIs on Supplier performance, total cost of supply chain, program launch, delivery, replenishment, quality, capacity acquisition and utilization, logistic, etc.
  • Lead, drive continuous improvement for the assigned sustaining commodities or categories in terms of cost/quality, etc. to achieve the define finance and business goal/KPIs.

 

Requirements

  • University graduate, major in engineering, business or supply chain.
  • 10 ~ 15 year experience in Supply Chain/operation.
  • Experience in working with vendor onsite for contract manufacturing operation and management
  • Experience working at MNC or global consumer electronics or home appliance company is preferred.
  • Strong skills in people management, communication and interpersonal interaction.
  • Strategic thinking to facilitate win-win situation.
  • Great sense of customer satisfaction driven to lead and focus on meeting customer’s expectation/requirements.
  • Leadership for project management; NPI to MP.
  • Knowledge in supply/manufacturing process and governance.
  • Supply/demand management.
  • Strong negotiation and good financial knowledge to perform total cost management.
  • Quick adaptability to change and able to work under ambiguity to deliver positive impact to business.
  • Strong sense of ownership and Can-do attitude. Strong problem solving skills.
  • Strategic planning of business and innovative to think out of box in solving issues.
  • Collaborative attitude to work with cross functional teams with good multi-cultural awareness.
  • Based in Shenzhen area with travel in China frequently.
