Graphic Designer
First National Bank of America is seeking a talented and self-motivated Graphic Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a creative professional with a strong foundation in design principles, exceptional technical, interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. The Graphic Designer position requires proficiency in managing and maintaining WordPress websites, basic HTML/CSS knowledge, and experience in both digital and print media. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a proactive mindset with the ability to work independently, and an eagerness to contribute to the success of the bank’s brand and communication goals.
Responsibilities:
- Design and produce visually compelling materials for digital and print media, including social media graphics, website content, advertisements, brochures, and more
- Utilize basic HTML and CSS skills to make minor website customizations and troubleshoot design issues
- Collaborate with marketing and production teams to ensure designs align with brand standards and effectively communicate product offerings
- Develop a strong understanding of all bank products to create informed and impactful designs
- Receive and incorporate constructive criticism to refine designs and meet project objectives
- Proactively identify and implement design improvements across various platforms with minimal supervision
- Stay up-to-date with design trends, tools, and technologies to ensure creative output remains fresh and effective
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, and InDesign) and experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and Canva.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Open to feedback and willing to adjust designs based on team input and direction.
- Knowledge of SEO and web performance best practices preferred
- Experience designing for financial institutions or regulated industries preferred
- Experience with motion graphics or video editing tools like Adobe After Effects or Premiere Pro preferred
