
Collections Supervisor (12PM-9PM Shift)
First National Bank of America is looking for an influential and goal-oriented Collections Supervisor to join the Collections team. This role will manage the daily operations of the collections department and motivate our collectors to achieve exceptional results when contacting customers with past-due mortgage accounts.
Shift type: Evenings - 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday through Friday and 1-2 Saturdays per month
Responsibilities:
- Motivate our Collectors to achieve exceptional results
- Manage daily operations of the Collections Department
- Take supervisor level calls
- Arrange repayment of delinquent debts
- Approve payment plans setup by Collections Representatives
- Assist with hiring, training and development
- Assist with employee schedules
- Monitor calls to ensure our high standards are maintained
- Maintain our current department policies, as well as implementing new initiatives
Ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to navigate challenging customer interactions effectively
- Be a problem solver
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm under pressure
- Have excellent time management skills and be able to effectively prioritize the daily workflow
- Prior management and call center experience preferred
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and general computer skills required
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a big plus!
