
Collections Supervisor (12PM-9PM Shift)
First National Bank of America is looking for an influential and goal-oriented Collections Supervisor to lead and support our evening Collections team. This role manages daily department operations and motivates team members to deliver exceptional results when contacting customers with past-due mortgage accounts. While banking or mortgage experience is helpful, it is not required for this role.
We proudly serve a diverse customer base, so bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a big plus, but not required. If you're a strong communicator with leadership experience and a passion for helping others, we’d love to hear from you.
Shift: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM, Monday–Friday + 1–2 Saturdays per month
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred – not required
Responsibilities:
- Motivate and support Collections Representatives to meet performance goals
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Collections Department
- Handle escalated/supervisor-level calls professionally and efficiently
- Approve and arrange repayment plans
- Assist with hiring, training, and staff development
- Help manage employee schedules
- Monitor calls for quality assurance and coaching opportunities
- Maintain current department policies and contribute to new initiatives
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role is required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Able to navigate challenging customer interactions effectively
- Problem-solving mindset with a calm, steady approach under pressure
- Excellent time management and ability to prioritize daily workflow
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and general computer use
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus!
