As an Engineering Manager overseeing cross-functional teams at Flex, you will lead and mentor a diverse group of engineers, fostering collaboration across various disciplines to deliver impactful products and platform features. Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Mentorship: Guide and inspire a team of engineers, promoting a culture of ownership, inclusiveness, accountability, pragmatism, and urgency. Provide coaching and development opportunities to cultivate talent and drive team excellence.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with product managers, designers, operations, and business leaders to evolve the team's vision and roadmap by thoroughly understanding customer needs. Ensure seamless collaboration across disciplines to build impactful products and platform features.
Technical Excellence: Lead and participate in critical technical, design, strategy, and product discussions with leaders across the organization. Drive consensus around architectural and design decisions, ensuring our software remains scalable, secure, and maintainable.
Product Development: Work with cross-functional partners to build impactful products and platform features. Define your team’s vision and roadmap by thoroughly understanding your customers’ needs. Creatively solve challenging technical problems at scale.
Operational Oversight: Plan and execute an engineering roadmap that balances new and innovative feature development with ongoing maintenance, reliability, and performance improvements. Establish best practices for coding, testing, deployment, and documentation, cultivating a culture of continuous improvement.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience: 8+ years of industry experience designing and building complex systems and delivering quality software. 3+ years of demonstrated success managing engineering teams, including providing mentorship, feedback, and investing in the career growth of team members
Technical Proficiency: Strong technical background in software development. You have a strong track record of delivering high quality scalable software
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to build a world-class team by hiring exceptional talent, coaching and developing engineers, and cultivating pragmatic engineering decision-making. Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and autonomy.
Communication: Excellent communication skills with a history of healthy collaboration with product managers, engineers, and other engineering managers on developing roadmaps and executing against them.
Problem-Solving: Well-developed curiosity and enjoyment in building creative solutions to complex problems. Ability to prioritize urgency, excellence, and delivery in a fast-paced and high-growth environment.
The compensation range for this role will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and Flex's internal leveling guidelines and benchmarks.
For working locations in NY/NJ/CA, the base salary pay range will be $221,000-$237,000
Director of Growth Marketing
About the role
Flex has grown our core flexible rent consumer product/business by distributing it through our rapidly expanding network of property management company partners. This core business is growing extremely fast, and we’re ready to take our next swing. Specifically, as we enter the next chapter of our growth, we are hiring a strategic and creative leader to build and lead a direct-to-consumer marketing strategy focused on growing adoption with the renter segment living outside of our property network. Reporting directly to our Out-of-Network Business Lead, you will own and scale new paid media efforts, including search, social, and SEO/SEM, while also overseeing branding and marketing collateral design. You will also help build our first B2C2B referral program to further business expansion.
This is a high-impact leadership role requiring strong analytical expertise, deep performance marketing knowledge, and hands-on budget management. You will work cross-functionally with product, sales, and analytics to develop and execute full-funnel marketing strategies that drive high-quality lead generation and optimize cost per acquisition.

What you’ll do
You will serve as the primary owner of new growth channels supporting our Out-of-Network (OON) & C2B pod. In this capacity, you will:
Develop new marketing channels and strategies to support growth of our OON user segment and B2C2B GTM motion
Define the foundation for DTC marketing at Flex, including audience segmentation and targeting, messaging, and infrastructure required to support these growth efforts
Move fast to stand up and optimize paid search and social campaigns, continuously testing creatives, messaging, and audience targeting to improve performance
Own and manage SEO and SEM strategy across Google Ads, pMAX, and other paid search platforms, ensuring efficient cost per MQL and maximum ROAS
Lead budget planning, forecasting, and spend allocation to maximize efficiency while driving scalable customer acquisition
Define and track key performance metrics, leveraging analytics tools like Google Analytics and Tableau to make data-driven marketing decisions
Partner with our C2B teams to build and execute referral campaigns to convert new OON users into property management leads, increasing user LTV
Key qualifications
Minimum of 8+ years of experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, or lead generation, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role
Proven track record of building and scaling growth marketing in a high-growth D2C business, ideally in the fintech space
Expertise in performance marketing and lead generation across multiple digital channels, including Google Ads and paid social
Experience building referral or lifecycle marketing campaigns, ideally in a B2C2B or B2B GTM function
Deep analytical mindset with experience managing marketing budgets and forecasts, optimizing for ROI and A/B testing to drive better engagement and conversion
High attention to detail, including precise and effective communication with senior stakeholders
In starting a new function, you need to be eager to wear multiple hats as a leader and a “doer”, who will do what is required to scale customer growth efficiently and rapidly
Desire for fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
The compensation range for this role will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and Flex's internal leveling guidelines and benchmarks.
For working locations in NY/NJ/CA, the base salary pay range will be $200,000-$211,000.
VP of Sales
About the role
As the Vice President of Sales, you will be responsible for building and executing a high-impact sales strategy that drives revenue growth, market expansion, and enterprise adoption of Flex’s solutions. Reporting directly to the Revenue Leader, you will oversee the sales organization, leading all unit acquisition activities and establish scalable processes to accelerate growth. The ideal candidate is a strategic sales leader with deep experience in FinTech, PropTech, or high-growth SaaS industries.

What you’ll do
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth and expand Flex’s market presence.

Key qualifications
15+ years of experience, with at least 7 years in a leadership role within FinTech, PropTech, or SaaS industries.
Proven track record of driving significant revenue growth and scaling high-performance sales teams.
Strong ability to build and nurture executive-level relationships within enterprise accounts.
Expertise in complex B2B sales cycles, with a consultative approach to selling.
Deep understanding of sales operations, forecasting, and pipeline management.
Ability to coach and mentor existing sales organization and develop a program to manage top talent.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and data-driven sales methodologies.
