Flight Itinerary (About The Role)
We're looking for a talented project manager for a customer-facing role. You'll work with SaaS customers in the customer lifecycle from sales handover to project acceptance. You will be responsible for identifying goals, executing against the roadmap and communicating progress to internal and customer stakeholders and leadership. You will manage the scope, impact and complexity of programs through all phases of the program lifecycle. Moreover, you'll be the owner of the engagement strategy, project plan, and contribute heavily to customer success.
You are a detailed-oriented, tech-savvy project leader comfortable working as the primary point of contact directly with FLYR's airline customers. You know how to organise the work of internal project teams and coordinate efforts with external stakeholders.

What Your Journey Will Look Like (Responsibilities)
- Manage multiple high-velocity projects simultaneously and collaborate with internal and airline stakeholders to define scope, objectives, deliverables and timelines.
- Develop project plans and resource allocation whilst adhering to schedules and milestones. You'll oversee the project execution in collaboration with internal teams whilst using industry standard project management tools such as Jira.
- You will be responsible for all aspects of project governance, including executing our communication framework, scheduling meetings, reporting, identifying and managing risks and issues, overseeing quality assurance, and adhering to best practice project management principles.
- The role is customer facing and you'll be a significant point of contact for the customer and its project manager/team. This will require you to cultivate and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
- You'll report to internal and external stakeholders to ensure all are appropriately informed on project status and details.
- You'll partner with FLYR's Delivery, Engineering, and Product Management teams to ensure customer requirements are met with our platform's wide variety of solutions.
- You'll continuously work to identify and document dependencies in the plan. Your project plan will transparently communicate dependencies to all stakeholders and you'll escalate project dependency issues as needed.
- You'll develop a cross-functional resource plan in accordance with project demands and the project plan/s.
- You'll be responsible for overseeing an appropriate project change management process. You'll ensure that internal and external stakeholders are fully aware of changes in the project plan and that adequate accommodations are made to mitigate risks.
What To Pack For This Trip (Qualifications)
- Qualified academic background, preferably in project management, business, or related field.
- 5+ years of project management experience spanning cross-functional teams and involving client expectation management and customer relationship formation.
- Significant experience planning and administering technical and analytical projects.
- Strong technical skills with expertise in work management software, preferably in Atlassian products.
- Knowledge or direct experience in the airline industry is highly regarded.
- You are a talented written and verbal communicator.
- Experience in resource planning and staffing plans.
- Ability to work both remotely and on-site at customer offices.
Optional Carry-On (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience in complex SaaS project management working alongside delivery teams, preferably in the delivery of SaaS products to airlines.
- Expertise in agile methodologies with familiarity with the creation of user stories and issues, sprint planning, and/or task distribution across a software development team.
- Experience in Jira work management software, and a plus if your expertise is in customer-facing Jira Service Management portals.
