Benefits Implementation Specialist
Foundation Risk Partners, one of the fastest growing insurance brokerage and consulting firms in the US, is adding a Benefits Implementation Specialist to their Acentria team.
Job Summary: The Implementation Specialist works under the direction of the Benefits Implementation Manager who is responsible for driving and deploying benefit administration systems.
The Implementation Specialist position is a developmental role that will provide the candidate the ability to develop their proficiency in the Health & Welfare industry, including the implementation and delivery of FRP’s suite of Client Solutions for both new and existing business. The long-term goal of this position is to prepare the incumbent for the Implementation Consultant role or other areas of Account Management.
Essential Functions:
- Assist the Benefits Implementation Manager in conducting buildout, integrations, and training.
- Following FRP processes, complete all documentation required to install each VAS (ie: forms, questionairres, building surveys, etc.)
- Working under the direction of the Benefits Implementation Manager, including interfacing with clients/Account Management to secure missing information.
- Provide technical resource for client team to include identification of all issues and appropriate resources to address, creation of technical specifications, creation and execution of test plans for client projects, testing and confirmation of expected results.
- Ensure that all outstanding issues that may interfere with successful implementation are quickly mitigated and/ or elevated to the appropriate levels.
- Utilize FRP’s technology toolset to manipulate data for use in development of client portals, surveys, total compensation statements and government filings/docs.

- Proficiency and prior experience with implementation of one of our existing services (COBRA admin, HRIS or FSA admin, etc.)

- Understanding of programming fundamentals is preferred

- Ability to handle stress of short time constraints and manage change
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) SharePoint Designer and InfoPath, Adobe Pro with strong technical/computer ability including knowledge of SharePoint Online and Office 365 in insurance agency management software (EPIC)
Education & Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- College Degree and 1-2 years of experience or 5+ years of experience
