Commercial Lines Account Executive
Foundation Risk Partners, one of the fastest growing insurance brokerage and consulting firm in the US, is adding a Commercial Lines Account Executive to their team in Totowa, NJ.
Job Summary:
Commercial Insurance Account Executives are responsible for client servicing, retention and marketing. The Account Executive serves as the direct link between the insurance agency and the existing client, managing day-to-day affairs and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Further, the Account Executive is responsible for the monitoring of all aspects of the insurance client, which include marketing, coverage, daily service requests, addition & deletion of insurable equipment/autos and certificates of insurance. The representative is required to answer customer’s calls and correspondence regarding the insurance company’s products and questions. The questions may involve new policies, cost or existing customer policies. The critical role of the Account Executive is to see that the customer’s problems/needs or questions are resolved satisfactorily and efficiently. The Account Executive is required to review all customer’s insurance policies to make sure appropriate coverage has been purchased, that no gaps in coverage exist, that all schedules for auto & equipment are included, and that all questions regarding coverage, subcontractor coverage, certificates, equipment & auto changes, project specific insurance policies (i.e railroad protectives, OCP’s and Pollution) are addressed. Any claims questions should be directed to the Claims Department with Management included in the notification.
Responsibilities:
As a Commercial Insurance Account Executive, you will be expected to:
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with clients, carriers & wholesalers
- Introduce new products and promote them through regular visits and communication with intermediaries
- Consult on the most effective coverage for a particular need
- Deliver exceptional customer service by responding swiftly to inquiries and concerns from clients
- Liaise with colleagues to keep your knowledge of new and existing products up to date
- Keep up to date with current market conditions and competitors' products
- Monitor and report on performance against agreed sales targets, (which at a more senior level can include monitoring the performance of other sales staff)
- Ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations for client’s field of business
- Work with underwriters to amend policies where necessary in order to meet client’s demand
Requirements:

- AMS360 experience strongly preferred
