About The Role

G2 is looking for a marketing professional to lead the go-to-market function for G2 partnerships, focused on driving marketing opportunities with their most strategic tech integration and co-marketing partners. The objective of this role is to execute the most valuable strategic partner efforts that drive and retain revenue for G2. This person will be responsible for driving partner marketing programs on the G2 Product Marketing team. The scope of this role includes executing on the annual strategy and coverage plan, creating alignment with internal and external stakeholders, liaising with partners to execute on co-marketing programs, and evaluating results in partnership with operational teams.  

This role will be the singular coverage for a full time leave of absence, with potential to extend as a future contractor. The selected contractor will receive comprehensive training and guidance from the current role holder to ensure a smooth transition and understanding of responsibilities. 

  • Duration: 7-8 month contract 

In This Role, You Will: 

Launch of New Features and Integrations:

  • Execute launches and align internally on marketing partner integrations and features in integration products, including joint-value proposition messaging and full-funnel GTM plans. Identify level of promotional visibility for proposed partnership in order to align launch activities to business impact. 
  • Collaborate with partners to develop co-marketing plans that effectively promote a partner-led launch. 
  • Work closely with product team to ensure integration meets user requirements and G2 brand standards; develop and deploy enablement assets to align with sales priorities.
  • Technical details and value proposition are translated into marketing and sales materials to communicate value to external audiences.
  • Measure and report on the impact of the launch, including shared learnings for future launches.

Ongoing GTM strategy with Strategic 5 partners:

  • Maintain relationships with marketing counterparts at partner organizations, ensuring G2 is positioned as a valued partner and invited to participate in high-impact initiatives.
  • Provide recommendations on where bringing in partnerships can add value to our overall go-to-market message and work closely with the product marketing peers to weave integrations into overall G2 marketing campaigns.
  • Partner with event and demand generation teams to develop and execute a regional, G2-hosted event series in co-sponsorship with top 3 strategic partners.

Co-Build and Support Partner Programs and Ecosystem Scale 

  • Co-develop, in collaboration with the partnership team, programs for new G2 partnership models, expanding G2’s scale to support integrations with new businesses and industries Create and maintain internal and external documentation for partner program
  • Prepare materials for partner program as needed, expanding G2’s visibility in the B2B technology ecosystem

Support  G2 and Partner-owned Events

  • Partner with cross-functional partners in G2 events, demand generation, and field marketing to develop, circulate, and launch G2 events that involve partner co-sponsorship
  • Evaluate, vet, negotiate contracts, and secure sponsorships for partner events, and subsequently execute pre-, during, and post-event tasks to ensure success

Other

  • As needed, support internal and external partners  with building materials, creating co-marketing plans, creating or refining messaging, and being a trusted advisor in additional partner marketing related responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications:

  • You are a passionate individual who is eager to contribute to team growth and foster a collaborative environment.
  • You have 6+ years experience with integration and partner marketing in a B2B technology setting
  • Proven success driving growth in an increasingly active and competitive space by reaching customers and prospects where they are with unique approaches to depicting joint-value propositions in marketing campaigns.  
  • This role is a champion and a builder excited about executing an existing marketing strategy and process - in partnership with our marketing, partnerships, and product colleagues. 
  • The ideal candidate is comfortable operating at highly strategic and tactical levels, switching between them effortlessly.
