The Role:

The Vice President of Product Management is responsible for leading Gametime’s two-sided marketplace strategy, encompassing both supplier (B2B) and buyer (B2C) experiences. This role plays a crucial part in building innovative products from the ground up, scaling supplier programs, and delivering seamless, AI-driven fan experiences. The ideal candidate brings deep marketplace expertise, is data-driven, and thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments while exhibiting strong leadership, experimentation, and execution capabilities.

Above & Beyond: The Impact You'll Make:

Marketplace Strategy & Leadership

  • Own and execute end-to-end product strategy to drive supplier-focused growth.
  • Develop roadmaps balancing B2B product excellence with a high-converting B2C experience.
  • Lead customer discovery and rapid experimentation to unlock new marketplace opportunities.
  • Mentor a high-performing product team with a focus on data-driven decisions.
  • Integrate AI and automation to optimize supplier and buyer engagement.
  • Partner with the CEO to align product strategy with business goals.

Supplier-Focused B2B Product Development

  • Build tools for pricing, inventory, and fulfillment optimization.
  • Launch monetization strategies (e.g., premium placement, automated pricing, analytics).
  • Streamline inventory management and supplier workflows.
  • Use insights from Research to solve seller pain points.
  • Analyze data to improve supplier retention and engagement.

Buyer Experience & Marketplace Growth

  • Redefine fan experiences with fast, simple, AI-personalized tools.
  • Launch new features like instant checkout, mobile-first interactions, and dynamic search.
  • Create viral growth via new acquisition channels.
  • Drive pricing transparency and real-time deal discovery.
  • Collaborate with Design to deliver a cohesive buyer-seller user experience.

Monetization & Growth

  • Design monetization models with Pricing, Analytics, and ML teams.
  • Align supplier participation with demand to drive liquidity.
  • Track metrics like supplier engagement, pricing efficacy, and revenue growth.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

    • Partner cross-functionally with engineering, UX, research, and design.
    • Promote seamless team communication and cross-departmental alignment.
    • Clearly articulate product vision to leadership and broader teams.

One Team One Dream: What We Need to Work Together:

Education: Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.

Experience: 12+ years in product management with 5+ years in marketplaces or e-commerce.

Certifications: N/A

Other Requirements:

  • Proven track record with B2B products, 0-1 launches, and mobile UX.
  • Experience with AI, personalization, and automation technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

Education: MBA or relevant graduate degree.

Experience: Background in live events, sports, or entertainment ticketing.Familiarity with AI pricing, predictive analytics, and strong passion for fast, simple UX.

Performance Metrics

    • Successful delivery of new supplier and buyer tools within 6–12 months.
    • Increased supplier engagement and retention by 10% within the first year.
    • Measurable growth in revenue via B2B monetization levers.
    • Improved buyer satisfaction (NPS, CSAT) tied to personalized product experiences.
    • Demonstrated increase in marketplace liquidity and transaction volume.

At Gametime pay ranges are subject to change and assigned to a job based on specific market median of similar jobs according to 3rd party salary benchmark surveys. Individual pay within that range can vary for several reasons including skills/capabilities, experience, and available budget.

$264,000 - $310,875 USD
