Join us! The GoFundMe team is searching for our next Treasury Manager to work with the Treasurer and oversee daily treasury operations. You will drive process improvements and collaborate cross-functionally with various teams, subsidiaries, and two non-profit partner entities. You will manage critical treasury functions to support global operations while focusing on cash forecasting, investments, currencies and banking relationships.
The Job…
- Assist with day to day liquidity and cash management operations for the company, and its two partner non-profit organizations.
- Assist with preparation and presentation of materials for Investment and Audit Committee meetings, track key performance for invested assets.
- Ensure the investments stay in compliance with the investment policies for each entity.
- Assist with managing relationships with broker dealers, financial advisors, and disbursement partners.
- Initiate and oversee electronic payments with accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare regular reports on cash flow, liquidity, debt, and other treasury-related activities for senior management and the board of directors.
- Handle day to day payment discrepancies and investment issues.
- Assist with managing banking relationships, opening and closing accounts to support our global operations in 20 countries.
- Rationalize bank account structure and valuate banking products and services.
- Partner cross functionally on international business expansion related tasks, including entity formation, and evaluate funding needs.
- Partner with tax and accounting teams on cash repatriation strategies.
- Monitor bank fees and make recommendations to optimize fees and banking products.
- Develop and maintain bank account matrix.
- Develop a 13-week and rolling annual cash forecasting model, monitor daily cash needs for the company, its subsidiaries and two partner organizations.
- Assist in the evaluation and execution of financing options to support the company’s strategic objectives.
- Manage banking portal user access.
- Ensure processes and activities are in compliance with the internal controls and Treasury policies.
- Support with addressing periodic due diligence and KYC requests from banks.
- Support FBAR reporting for the company and individual bank account signers.
- Evaluate currency risk exposure from cash flow and balance sheet perspective and make recommendations for currency risk mitigation strategies.
- Maintain an accurate record and reporting for FX trades.
- Drive continuous improvement in treasury processes through innovative solutions and technologies.
You…
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field;
- 5-10 years of experience in treasury roles, investments, liquidity.
- Experience in cash management strategies, financial instruments (i.e. money market, ETF, mutual funds and other financial instruments).
- Relevant experience in overseeing day to day operations of a treasury department with domestic and international operations.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Superior communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate future market and treasury scenarios.
- Entrepreneurial-minded: a self-starter who excels in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience in working in or partnering with non-profit organizations is a plus.

The total annual salary for this full-time position is $110,000 - $165,000 + equity + benefits. As this is a remote position, the salary range was determined by role, level, and possible location across the US. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
