Vice President, Revenue Transformation

Gong is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to drive a newly established team that will drive Gong’s expansion into large-scale, multi-year, transformative deals within Fortune 2000 accounts. This individual will play a critical role in shifting Gong’s offering from a point solution to a comprehensive, enterprise-level platform by leveraging Gong’s Revenue AI platform, partner ecosystem, maturity model, and other internal teams. The VP of Revenue Transformation will work closely with senior executives in client organizations, internal Gong teams, and key stakeholders to guide strategic, large-scale revenue transformation initiatives that align with client business objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Leadership:

  • Lead the vision and strategy for Gong’s Revenue Transformation efforts within key Fortune 2000 accounts, driving the shift from point solution implementations to large-scale, autonomous revenue transformations.
  • Define and execute strategies to increase Gong’s footprint within enterprise accounts by aligning Gong’s solutions with the revenue objectives of C-suite and senior revenue leaders.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with Gong’s Sales, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, Implementation, and C-suite teams to coordinate efforts for multi-year revenue transformation projects.
  • Serve as the key liaison to drive alignment between internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of transformation initiatives.

Consultative Discovery & Solution Design:

  • Strategize with the account teams to conduct high-level, consultative discovery sessions with C-suite executives and senior leaders to uncover complex revenue challenges and identify opportunities for transformation.
  • Utilize Gong’s maturity model to assess current client revenue operations, and develop customized, scalable roadmaps that address client needs and deliver measurable impact.

Revenue Growth & Large-Scale Deal Strategy: 

  • Lead the development of large $5M-$10M+ deal strategies, driving high-level negotiations and ensuring alignment on scope, vision, and desired outcomes.
  • Secure new, multi-million-dollar deals, focusing on long-term value creation and client satisfaction.
  • Cultivate and expand relationships with VP to C-suite revenue leaders, positioning Gong as a trusted partner in driving sustainable growth.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Build, coach, and mentor a high-performing team of Revenue Transformation Directors, empowering them to secure multi-million-dollar deals and design transformation roadmaps.
  • Foster a collaborative, results-driven environment where team members are equipped to drive transformation initiatives across multiple stakeholders and business units.
  • Lead by example, actively engaging in key accounts, guiding the team through complex opportunities, and ensuring the execution of transformation strategies.

Results-Oriented Execution:

  • Drive results against key performance indicators, including the growth of Gong’s 7-figure accounts, Maturity Model assessments, and annual revenue targets.
  • Ensure that all transformation initiatives provide measurable ROI, create long-term value, and lay the foundation for lasting client partnerships.

Stakeholder Management & Alignment:

  • Establish and maintain executive-level relationships across client organizations, ensuring alignment on revenue objectives and strategic goals.
  • Champion the execution of transformation roadmaps and facilitate discussions to ensure the highest level of buy-in and alignment across client business units.
QUALIFICATIONS 
  • Proven experience in leading large-scale enterprise sales and transformation initiatives, preferably in SaaS or technology-driven businesses.
  • Deep understanding of revenue operations, business transformation, and consultative sales processes.
  • Ability to build and lead high-performing teams, with experience in coaching and developing talent.
  • Strong experience working with C-suite executives and senior revenue leaders, with the ability to engage in strategic business conversations and drive alignment on complex initiatives.
  • A consultative mindset with the ability to develop tailored, long-term solutions that address client needs and drive revenue growth.
  • Experience in managing complex, multi-million-dollar deals and navigating high-stakes negotiations.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership experience, with the ability to collaborate effectively across sales, customer success, product, marketing, and executive teams.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Results-driven, with a track record of delivering measurable outcomes and driving sustainable growth.

The annual OTE for this position is $370,000 - $400,000 USD. 

Compensation is based on factors unique to each candidate, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, qualification, education, experience, and location. At Gong, we have a location-based compensation structure, which means there may be a different range for candidates in other locations. The total compensation package for this position, in addition to base compensation, may include incentive compensation, bonus, equity, and benefits. Some of our sales compensation programs also offer the potential to achieve above targeted earnings for those who exceed their sales targets.
